Thinking about it...need some vaccation from work...flights is about $1500 from Gotheburg-Adelaide/Melbourne/Sydney. I can go with BA from Heathrow or Quantas from Heathrow. Prices are more or less the same.

I am just waiting for the European leg of the tour (without floor seating and these kind of American inventions...) and of course with shorter distances...
a great Central/Eastern European stadium gig would be fantastic! Fresh enthusiastic audience, all-night party with Our Band!

It is believed that one of the Australian shows will be at the picturesque Hanging Rock, outside Melbourne, which Frontier Touring’s Michael Gudinski is trying to turn into a major venue.
He has staged shows there by Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen and Rod Stewart.

I just reread this "The South Australian Government chipped in A$450,000 (US$422,520) to lure the band, Premier Jay Weatherill confirmed."
This has to be a half million dollar government subsidy for the entire Australian tour right? Surely they can't mean that amount for one single performance.
