Im heading for the 3rd show but I was hoping for Clapton.

I don't know, but I don't think so. Most likely Tina or Santana (who's playing in Las Vegas) will be the guest tonight.

Taj Mahal!

Nobody would have guessed it would be him. He played in 1968 at the Rock'n'Roll Circus. It will be great, I think.

I saw Taj Mahal play at the PPV in St Louis in 1997.
Good guess but I think it will be someone else.

Forgot to say I spoke to MT yesterday. He didn't seem optimistic thathe was going to get a lot of songs tonight, but he didn't know yet.

I'm so excited to see the Stones tonight. It was a blast last night at the Hard Rock & great to see Voodoopug's band. I hope to meet some more fans at the Ogden 2nite. I'll be in a red/pink paisley skirt w/ a toungue shirt and a jean jacket. We're sitting in section is 110, row 1.

I didnt think it was very memorable when I saw him in 1997.
Perhaps the Stones could play without a special guest?
I dont consider Mick Taylor a guest he is a core band member.

Wow, how long of a conversation was it? A brief hello/chat or did you get a chance to ask how the process worked? It sounds like it's not really mapped out, winging it, "Glimmers Twins" style ;-)

Anyone received that notification for the $85. tics yet? Approx when will that happen? How is that going to work, exactly? Do I have to be at the venue, or what?

Sorry, I'm on my phone, hence short posts. I spoke to MT when he wandered into the bar of what turned out to be the band hotel (I'm not staying there). Only short chat. Super-nice guy. Said I hoped he'd get lots of songs, he seemed to think he got 6 in LA, said he doubted wld be that many tonight, thought "he" (assume MJ) was working toward a sort of crescendo of using him more, sounds good for future shows.
