Sorry, I'm on my phone, hence short posts. I spoke to MT when he wandered into the bar of what turned out to be the band hotel (I'm not staying there). Only short chat. Super-nice guy. Said I hoped he'd get lots of songs, he seemed to think he got 6 in LA, said he doubted wld be that many tonight, thought "he" (assume MJ) was working toward a sort of crescendo of using him more, sounds good for future shows.
Could he be crazy? Does Ronnie need an order of protection...Something is weird...Quote

Great stuff, thanks for sharing! Strange he'd think he was on 6 songs in LA though! Well I guess CYHMK and MR count double ;-) A crescendo sounds great...HP/2, MT on stage all the time!

Cant wait until Sunday.

does Oprah still live in Chicago? Maybe she could come with Dr. Phil to help Mick & Keith patch things up and hug it out!!

A tweet from GRRRegory:
"The special guest for tonight's Chicago #Stones50 show has played with the band a few times"
They should have Stevie Wonder - funny to see from 1972Quote

I will be in the PIT with a multicolore shirt and a jacket US TOUR 72. Hope to meet a lot of IORR fans!
This shirt ? ;-)
I still know that MT played on 4 songs not 6. The order of protection was a joke, it's you that's having a rough time.Quote

Why would an increase in stage time for MT mean Ronnie needs an order of protection? The bizarre need for your limited definition of the Rolling Stones to exist in a world outside of your mind is really, really sad.
It's not a competition. It's a band.
But, by all means, continue living the delusion that MT and Ronnie are competing for...what exactly?
Man...the last few decades must have been rough for you.

While you lucky guys are seeing the Stones in Chicago tonight, BluzDude's wife has given me permission (although she probably doesn't know it) to do some minor drinking tonight at the Rainbow Bar & Grill with Bluz and...wait for it....
Manofwealth and Taste and BarRoom Queen. Just think! GENUINE English people instead of the usual dullard Sunset Strip crowd.
Naturally, I will rush back to my computer see how many songs Mick T got to do, who the guest star was, did "Sweet Home Chicago" get played and other essentials of life.
