thanks alot bloomer....dammit.
Honestly GRNRBITW, I don't know why you're complaining, unless you think Doxa is going to overtake you in the word count.
His posts may be longer, but yours are more frequent...
ok...but just once...JUST ONCE i would like you to ask me for an opinion. remember that time i thought about bringing you some tissues? hmmm???

Just to be honest I was the poster formerly known as "Duane in Houston", but since I was having technical problems logging on here plus the fact that I haven't lived in Houston for about 6 years now ( I now live in Austin ) I'm going with the new moniker of "Bungo" for reasons that are to mundane to go in to. Peace, Out.
Do you ever hang out with StonesTod? Sometimes I really miss him around here.
Of course most of the time I could care less.
Can't say I've had the pleasure. But next time you see him give him a shout out to look me up. The bar's always open and I'm always buying.
You best back them words up Duane...
????? N-word please...
which bar, what time?
Are you calling me out? Are you close to Austin? Don't yank my chain or you might "get the blade".

I think we are all getting carried away with MT. Its great that he is playing with the band but someone posted above the Stones proved they are the greatest before MT took the stage last November.

Delusional.
Any one that honestly believes that Mick Taylor has "saved The Rolling Stones"
really can't even claim casual fan status.
The Rolling Stones(aka Jagger, keith, Ronnie and Charlie) didn't need "saving".
Good Lawd.
Has he added some fun and nostalgia to this tour??
Absolutely.
"Saved"??
Again.. delusional.

I think this may be more a case of mutual redemption. All parties are benefitting from this rekindled relationship bringing it all full circle. It's quite lovely.

I agree with the title of this thread. +1. For the first time I feel something when I see a video of the band. I expect something new or different and thats exiting.

I think the Stones saved Mick Taylor.
So, your post is incorrect.
Yeah, good observation. Not only has Mick Taylor been thrust back into the lime light, he looks healthier, trimmer, and is playing well. I think no one needed to "save" the Rolling Stones, and this union has been great for both. But also, at the most he has played on four songs in a concert, and Ronnie continues to be their main lead guitarist. And he is doing quite well this tour.

but remember that MT isn't nearly as svelte as the other stones. important point to consider today.
