Munich - I'm sure it was Keith who brought in Fogerty, Waits and Bonnie Raitt. Those were decent choices except for Waits I can't stand him. I'm sure Mick had no say in that.............Yeah right. Mick approves everything that goes on and I;m sure thise were HIS choices and Keith dod not have much to do with it if anything. Mick Jagger is running this show if you think otherwise you are fooling yourself.

I haven't thought otherwise since 1989...it's Micks train to wreck. He's just doing a far better job of wrecking it than I thought he could...next up Bieber...

The band is playing really well Munich I can't wait to go. I will say the tickets are too expensive but I loved the show in Brooklyn last year. I've been to every tour since 1981 in the US and the Brooklyn show wa my favorite one. I don't know maybe I was just happy to see them for the first time in over six years and I'm delusional.

That's fantastic. Enjoy yourself and enjoy the show!
Don't worry about delusional...it sounds as if delusions come in handy on this tour...

Ok, I was wrong. Katy Perry held her own, but don't make a habit of this Mick. Don't need to see Justin Bieber on stage with the same guys who sang "Sympathy for the Devil"

I just watched the video of KP on BOB and I don't get why so many people are bitching. Maybe she's not in the same league as the Stones, but she is very popular and she's got a good voice. I thought she did a good job even though I'd prefer to see a Stones concert with just the Stones. Besides that...she's hot!!!

Incredibly how conservative a lot of stones fans are.

Although I think the guest spots haven't worked on this tour.
I thought they were much better (rehearsed?) on the 2012 tour.
A bit of a shame, because The Stones on stage with the great John Fogerty could have been something excellent.

For me, they can invite whoever they want. If it works, it works.

Katy Perry did alright btw.

All choices for guests are Jagger´s. No doubt about that.

He chooses classic partners and these young/modern/his sex-type of partners.
Trying to show the Stones are still attracting young audiences. Well.

Just watched the video and I thought she did good. She knew the words and didn't try to upstage anyone.
I think it's great that she thinks it's great to be invited (you follow?) and at least it seemed they'd rehearsed it unlike Amy Winehouse (much though I love her) on Ain't Too Proud To Beg from IOW in 2007.

For those wondering about Katy Perry? She is the sex part of Sex, drugs and rock and roll. Jagger's business sense is the other part of her being there. It is about creating a 'buzz' with other consumers with disposable income other than The Stones usual dinosaur fan base.

She looks great in latex, but, I hope Jagger does not get nothin'!

That was a poor version. Perry fvcked it up with coming in with the chorus too early, and they never got it back on track again. Will be good without guests.

I don't get how she's any worse than Lady Gaga. Gaga was purely a guest for commercial reasons because she's the biggest selling young female pop celebrity out there now. Katy Perry is up there as well, but to say she's any worse than Gaga is idiotic. They are either the same, or Perry is a bit better because she actually isn't a bad singer and doesn't care about shocking. I'm in the latter in not liking her music, but she seems nice enough and cares about her music, where as Gaga can't do anything without being controversial.

Jagger brought Fogerty in to add handclaps to "Tallahassie Lassie" when he and Don Was were out in LA putting together the SOME GIRLS bonus disc. Keith was nowhere in sight. Mick has also spoken favorably of listening to CCR when they were cutting EXILE. As far as I could tell, Keith didn't go near Fogerty when they were playing. Same thing at the Hall of Fame induction cermonies in 1986 and 1987. Keith and Fogerty were both on stage but didn't interact much.

Tom Waits, on the other hand, was likely arranged through Keith even if Mick gave final approval.

Awful idea. No Katy Perry or other train wreck guest stars butchering Stones tunes and more Mick Taylor.

If only Jagger would listen. Keith must be cringing nightly.

Just watched the video. I thought she, as well as the band, were great. Mick can definitely sing it on his own, but she's a much better guest than the other idiots these days. She just passes the test on my scale of current pop stars, and its mainly because she clearly has talent. It showed during his guest spot. She was far from the worst they've had this tour, including the shows last year. She was absolutely fine.

Maybe they should have Ke$ha since she mentions Mick in her most famous song.

I don't get it myself. Sure, I'd prefer more Taylor, but I thought she was fine as guests go. I've sure as hell seen worse onstage with this band. Plus, her routine was more like late seventies Linda Ronstadt (not as good a voice, though). I was expecting her usual theatrics (like Lady Gaga did) and gratefully, we didn't get them. No, it was a long way from the best version of the song, but it sure wasn't the worst. It beats a bar band trying to do it.

From what I saw on video I think Katy did great... and it sounds like she had a blast doing it... and it seems like mick the boys enjoyed having her... so how can that be a negative thing? Oh wait, for second I forgot where I asking.
