So true...this is the 7.8% of Mick Jagger that is so uncool...He's carney barking via the Katy Perry and Lady Gagas of the world for a crowd that is not particularly interested in the Rolling Stones...if they invited 23 year Linda Rondstadt up on stage or Stevie Nicks who at least are in the same genre and would on its face be an interesting mix to the proceedings I get it..I really do....

but like I said there is that 7.8% of Mick that gives you "Let's Work", Justin Timberlake Duets and SuperHeavy....when he was a dude that once sang uncredited on "You're So Vain", sang with the best cover of his entire career with Peter Tosh, etc.....it's just so played out....and contrived...

This is what I don't get. People are willing to pay $500 to see the Rolling Stones, but they don't want to see the Rolling Stones enough not to have to have a "contemporary" special guest to make it worth their while? Makes no sense.

Ha..Love it....I hear Charlie is demanding a New Edition Reunion 'if we do one more gawd-damned shit version, never played in the original right key since the original when I sat there and ate bubble of "It's Only Rock and Roll"...'

Out of all the people that are complaining about who the guest is, I wonder how many of them are actually attending the concert. If you're just complaining for the sake of complaining, then why? Is your life ruined? Does a certain guest somehow make Sticky Fingers less of a great album? Does a certain guest make The Stones less good? Rubbish. You guys react as if the head of the KKK has been invited to come up and say a few words between songs.

Well it is Las Vegas so it makes sense to me. I don't mind her personally, although her music is pretty bad. Her exhusband is super sexy.

Of course I am not really that upset, but when you have followed a band as religously as lot of us have in may case 35 years...you might hope and come to expect some a little authenticity to it all particularly in the end...but does Katy Perry bother me - not in the least - do I find it a bit desperate on Mick's (and I hang this exclusively on Mick and feel about 99.99% sure it was his call exclusively - Yeah...Yeah I do

For the record:

I was in the TP at the 12/15 show when Lady Gaga performed.

I thought it *could* be bad. But she did an excellent job. And she showed enough side-boob to make up for any negative feelings I had going into it.

This is a joke right? I'm not finding the correlation with the band and Katy Perry. Oh well, if it fills seats and she entertains the crowd that's what counts.

The other rumor started here would have been a better fit but as far as I know that guy will be watching Major League Baseball games in the living room.

Keith should pick the guests. Mick should not be allowed to have any input.
