The Jordanaires added a bit of doo wop to the backing vocals along with soul, country and gospel...but Elvis didn't sing doo wop style very often. He was the hillbilly country cat influenced by early R&B...

i've been on an elvis bender the past few days and will continue it into the weekend. the big e did plenty 'o doo wop and did it proudly and with panache. or something.
