And btw- Taylor is a guest... not a member of The Rolling Stones. Taylor quit, remember? Oh thats right, you are in denial of that FACT.

No, I just don't need to be reminded of the fact by you every time the subjetc comes up, and I also do not see how it is relative to anything. The Rolling Stones obviously feel differently about Taylor than you do, as they are the ones who have invited him to tour with them, not me.

Hope you can make it to one of the shows.

The more I hear all this stupid Taylor talk from crazed Taylorites ( perpertually stuck in high school mentality?) the more I wish his fat ass was booted from the tour completely.

WTF? It starts with have lumpy guest on a song, and soon heads towards the title of this dumbass thread. FK EVERYTHING ABOUT THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD.

The real issue is your hostility and negativity to a member of the band. You should look in the mirror the next time you get the urge to take to this site to lecture the rest of us about "negativity". It's highly ironic that you accuse others of a "high school mentality" and then go on to use grade-school level insults against Taylor in the very next sentence.

If this makes you so irrationally crazed, why participate in this thread in the first place?

You hate Taylor. WE GET IT. Move on.

No the issue is your hostility and hated of everything except Taylor.

Which of course, simply isn't true, and a figment of your rather fevered imagination. If you recall, I paid big bucks to see them in Brooklyn without Taylor. It was a great show, and I specifically complimented Wood on his playing on this very site.

You are entitled to your opinion. All I ask is that you refrain from assigning me mine. I am perfectly capable of expressing it myself.

I really can't understand the hostility Max. It seems to me Stones fans would be thrilled to have Taylor back - for one song, two songs, or for a whole show. If you are not, great, but why not let the rest of us enjoy ourselves?

I don't want to fight you, I am just really puzzled by your attitude, and I find it very inconsistent with your admonishments to others to avoid negativity. Seems like you would want to follow your own advice.

I wasnt even addressing you until you came at me, I know how crazy you get if anyone even mentions your hero Taylor. I try to stay away from that type of crazy.

Um, okay.

Look,I see no need for Mick T to sit in on any Ron Wood era tunes and vice-versa.But would it be rude for Ron to be asked to leave the stage when Mick T comes on.
YES

have 3 guitars, work out the parts, or flip Ronnie on to bass

Be cool brothers and sisters. Just thought would be a buzz for Taylor to play in the '69-'74 lineup (obviously minus Bill) for a couple of classics is all.
I don't wanna be arrested for inciting a peaceful riot (apologies to Stewart/Wood).eye rolling smiley

Yeah, well, what you did was like dropping a match on a haystack! smiling smiley

But in another reality, or rather fantasy, imagine a 4 hour concert that includes Taylor, Wyman, McLagen along as well.. even Jagger takes a 2nd break and Ronnie takes center stage .. we get a version of The New Barbarians, a version of the Taylor era, etc.

as long as RW isn't bouncing around the stage, posing and try to get attention, then it's ok for him to be on-stage.
i want to hear the guitars !!! Just play guitar and back-up the solos of MT please..
MT should be the number 1 focus whilst on stage.
i don't want theatrics...if i did then I'd spend my $300 on the circus.

Huge Mick Taylor fan. Glad he's back and can play again with the boys. Was happy during the 2012 to see how he was great during Midnight Rambler. Thanks to the Stones make this dream come true.
