I read that during Fool to Cry in '76 he noded out for a few seconds or so onstage. Not sure if that's right or not.

It never happened. Just an urban myth, like oh so many tales regarding Keith.

Some times they change his blood on stage... Isn't that what people say?

There's a clip out there of Elvis loosing it on stage just rambling a mumble. At some point he realizes this [to his horror, I expect] and makes one of the all time re-entries/recoveries, with the old auctioneering sale close [after what sounds like much mumbling] of "sold American!."

The difference between his inept solo on Key to the Highway at the Crossroads Festival the other night and his generally strong playing during the five Stones shows last year is the amount of rehearsal. It looks like he may not have even done a soundcheck for the Crossroads gig.

At this point, he's a burned out old man who plays like crap when he has to wing it. But, if he sticks to the tried and true, he'll be fine. This probably means minimal set list variation in the upcoming shows. Jagger'll have him on a short leash.

No rehearsal, no sound check. Sounds familiar...
