Well here is my version of a entertaining setlist for this thread. Of course a few songs could be swapped in and out at various shows.

Just imagine if they came out and played this, but of course it will never happen:

03-Hand of Fate
04-Sad Sad Sad
05-Lets Spend The Night Together
06-Heart of Stone
07-Doncha Bother Me
08-Out of Time
09-Casino Boogie
10-Neighbors
11-Honky Tonk Women
12-Monkey Man
13-You Got The Silver
14-Before They Make Me Run
15-You Can't Always Get What You Want
16-The Lantern
17-No Expectations
18-Gimme Shelter
19-Start Me Up
20-Loving Cup
21-Melody
22-Coming Down Again
23-Satisfaction
24-Just My Imagination
25-Jumping Jack Flash

Would love to hear Time Waits for No One or Moonlight Mile for Mick Taylor to play on, perhaps even Sway somthing to highlight Taylor besides Midnight Rambler.

Cover song: Around and Around

Hits song almost never played: No Expectations

Would really love to hear [b]No Expectations[/b]. Lady Jane was beautiful in London, Here in the US, we have never heard it live (unless maybe 1966).

Recent hit sparingly played in the 2000s: Out of Control- love this song, great live and Mick puts so much into it, great theater.

All in all, a show with No Expectations or Time Waits for No One/Moonlight Mile or Lady Jane would make the show for me.

If so, some songs would have to go. These are: Midnight Rambler, Paint It Black, Miss You, Sympathy For The Devil.

I think they should skip " Sway" unless MT plays it! I'm working on my wish list now! I am also dying to hear " Love In Vain" with Taylor.

Ok, I'll post a realistic setlist, not one with every one of my favorites, has a good number of warhorses, but still is realistic to what they could play with a couple of "wishes" thrown in.

1. Honky Tonk Women
2. Get off my Cloud
3. Shattered
4. Doom and Gloom
5. Miss You
6. Out of Control
7. Memory Motel/Waiting on a Friend
8. Paint It, Black
9. Around and Around
10. Keith set-Before They Make Me Run
11. Happy
12. Mick Taylor set-Sway
13. All Down the Line
14. Time Waits For No One/Can't You Hear Me Knocking
15. Midnight Rambler
16. Gimme Shelter
17. Sympathy For the Devil
18. Brown Sugar
19. Jumpin' Jack Flash
20. Encore set: You Can't Always Get What You Want (with choir)
21. Start Me Up
22. Satisfaction

Some alternatives could be Live With Me in place of All Down the Line, Love In Vain instead of Sway, The Last Time in lieu of Cloud,.. Yeah, not real original since the December set list was close. I personally would love to hear Lady Jane, Time Waits For No One, Dance Little Sister, Sweet Virginia.

It will be fun no matter what they play. Frankly, I would much rather them play 18-20 songs they know very well and play very weel, than 25 songs they don't play well.

No, I decided against that, as I said on page 3, where I first posted a counting. Only positive mentions got into the list and I didn't count negative ones. Negative mentions, e. g. complaints naturally mostly refer to warhorses. Nobody will spontaneously say "I hope they don't play Let It Loose", though that doesn't mean, everybody likes the suggestion of some users that the band should perform Let it loose. But when somebody actually said in a discussion about a rarely played song, like in the case of Sway, they better had not play it, since it would suck live, I also didn't subtract.

There are people that included warhorses in their suggested set lists (and what else can I do but assume, they actually want to hear them? I want to keep as much interpretation out of the counting as possible. There is already some involved, when I count mentions outside of explicit lists in other threads than this one. Because then I have to value if a mention is really a song someone would like to hear in the next months, so something to count, or just an ironic remark or a neutral observation about a song). Some posters said, they would not want to miss a certain warhorse on the coming tour or mentioned it in another positive way (like: Mick Taylor should play on Gimme Shelter; they should do fireworks during Sympathy; Start me up will be a great opener for Glastonbury; Paint it Black with Brian on a video screen and the band playing along would be nice; YCAGWYW with choir again please; I don't mind them play Miss You, since it was really good last year...). That's what I count, plus all the positive listings and mentions of rarities (like: I hope they will play Winter once in my lifetime; Let it loose would be so fitting for the Hyde Park encore; Moonlight Mile with Mick Taylor is a must...). I only count certain song suggestions, nothing like "Everything from Exile is welcome".

All I want is Sweet Virginia at one of the Philly shows. It hasn't been played here since 1972 and it's the only song that they play on a consistent basis that I've never heard.

I saw them do Worried About You @ the Hard Rock during the 40 Licks tour. Fantastic! That was a special weekend. The Joint one night followed by MGM the next night featuring Sticky Fingers. Can't You Hear Me Knocking blew me away & a stripped down Brown Sugar on the small stage. I have high hopes for this year. in Vegas. I wasn't going to do it but my inner demons/angels got the better of me. I just changed jobs (in same company) & fortunately my new managers were cool about the time off. I'm excited! Have seen every US tour (many with multiple dates) since Some Girls (except No Security. Dang!). I was in high school in 1978 & somehow talked my parents into letting me drive from Seattle to Boulder for the show. I thought that they were going to put Keith in prison in Canada & I had to see them once. Needless to say I didn't share that info with the parents. Haha. I had a chance to see the 1975 tour but it was before I was allowed to go to concerts. I love Ron Wood's playing when he's not too well "adjusted" but am looking forward to seeing Mick Taylor. I've seen an interview with Keith & he seems pretty excited about having all 3 guitars playing. I've put a few wish list items up on this thread but I'm going to be happy with just about anything. I've always loved "Loving Cup" & missed Exile night on 40 Licks. "Time Waits for No One" & "Moonlight Mile" seem like a good choices with Taylor. Although "Hand of Fate" is an alltime fave song, think I'm backing off that one in favor of some more Taylor era stuff. Here's a couple from that era that would be cool: "Soul Survivor" & "Sister Morphine". As I said before, I'm happy with anything though! Hope all enjoy their shows & maybe see you in Vegas!cool smiley
