Thanks for the info, bv. Looks like we'll have to just get there early and park.Quote

I am sure this is well known for all the locals, I am just adding this as seen from a "tourist" part of view...
I have been walking around in the Philly center city and sports complex area for some hours. It takes a little more than one hour from the center city to the venue if you walk, just follow Broad street all the way, but there are buses and underground too of course. The area is nice mostly residential, except more desserted as you get closer to the sports complex, basically a large, large parking lot. There is nothing outside i.e. near the sports complex as for drinks or eating, except smaller places. The Holiday Inn 15 minutes walking away (see map below), across the parking, has got a large sports bar, so anyone staying there don't need to walk far.
There is a large catering area, more like a eating and drinking center, right in the center of the sports complex called Xfinity, with a number of bars and dining places open every day. See the "A" in the map below. I would recommend this place if you need to meet up with other fans on show day:
Victory Beer Park
[www.xfinitylive.com]
It is 3 minutes walk facing the Well Fargo Center, also facing the Xfinity outdoor stage with oudoor eating and drinking tables as well.
Yeah, I'm on the $85 train, prayin' for a good location but ok with anything...Quote
