Leave a reply here and I'll get back to you.

Here's a link to septa.org. I entered Essington to the stadium, 6 pm arrival.

[airs1.septa.org]

You can use it to go from anywhere in Philly to anywhere else in the area and neigboring towns including Essington. There is no residential area around where the hotels are, so I don't think crime is a big worry.

Thanks for the link, shawriffhard1.

I need to get my daughter from the Amtrak station on 30th to the Wells Fargo area.

I don't see an easy way to do that..any suggestions, anyone? If an cab is the best way to go, does anyone know how much it would be?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Good luck. Keep alert for a drop of $85's, or 150's if you can go for that. You should be OK. I was just making a joke because you said "misses" (meaning two ladies) not "mrs." (meaning your wife), so with two misses along you would need 3 tix (and probably have more fun than I will with my wife).

Wells Fargo center has given a "HIGH ALERT" for parking and public transportation for BOTH concerts.
Apparently there is a Phillies game which starts at 7:30.
Anyone going to the concert should be aware to allow extra time.

I am sure this is well known for all the locals, I am just adding this as seen from a "tourist" part of view...

I have been walking around in the Philly center city and sports complex area for some hours. It takes a little more than one hour from the center city to the venue if you walk, just follow Broad street all the way, but there are buses and underground too of course. The area is nice mostly residential, except more desserted as you get closer to the sports complex, basically a large, large parking lot. There is nothing outside i.e. near the sports complex as for drinks or eating, except smaller places. The Holiday Inn 15 minutes walking away (see map below), across the parking, has got a large sports bar, so anyone staying there don't need to walk far.

There is a large catering area, more like a eating and drinking center, right in the center of the sports complex called Xfinity, with a number of bars and dining places open every day. See the "A" in the map below. I would recommend this place if you need to meet up with other fans on show day:

Victory Beer Park

It is 3 minutes walk facing the Well Fargo Center, also facing the Xfinity outdoor stage with oudoor eating and drinking tables as well.

Thanks bv.

I decided to drive in, but I plan to get there early, thanks for the traffic alert Christopher. So, I'll be killing time, waiting to check into the hotel and waiting for my kid to get there from NYC.

I hope to see some of you fine people at either the Holiday Inn or Victory Beer Park. Cheers!

Just got an email from Wells Fargo Center, inviting me to the "pre-concert party" at XFinity Live. Featured drinks are "Jumpin' Jack Flash" & "Brown Sugar." I would guess Brown Sugar is gonna taste so good...

I just went to the Wells Fargo Center box office.
No $85.00 released yet but they said there should be some tomorrow.
The lady at the ticket counter told me to arrive early they expect parking to take much longer than expected. Phillies game starts at 7:30 against the Nationals and the parking areas are for both venues.

I also am looking to get $85 or $150 tickets for the Friday show. Any idea
when they might start discounting tickets not sold? Two days before? thanks
for any info.
