what a bunch of negative morans,springsteen is the biggest and best live act in the entite world,right behingd the stones.bruce and mick sung at the rock and roll hof ceremony about 20 years ago,and were great.as far as gaga,she will blow that idiot mary j blidge out of the water if she does give me shelter.black keys i know little about,but they are very popular.the 3 guest combined will be on stage about 20 minutes out of a 150 min show!!the stones have always had guest on ppv events.shut up and enjoy it.

Oh well, I may just have to shut my ears for five minutes. The rest of it will be the Stones. But as somebody said back up the top of this thread, it's a pity to waste good Stones time with all these guests.

Anger at the Guests
Like many of the IORRers in the states I was very disappointed Mick Taylor wasn’t at the Brooklyn show. I love the work he did with the Stones and thought Plundered My Soul was the best official Stones release in years.
This is a tough crowd and I understand the anger directed towards the guests, but I think some of it is misplaced and out of line. The Stones were embraced and mentored by many older artists when they started out (Little Richard, Howlin’ Wolf, etc) and ridiculed by a few who looked ridiculous themselves in hindsight (Dean Martin). I know part of the reason they’ve invited these guests is to drive ticket sales and PPV viewership, but I also believe the guests help the pacing of the show, and challenge the Stones which keeps them on their toes and continues the tradition they learned 50 years ago.
With all that said -- I’d trade an inspired performance by any guest, for an average performance of the Stones with Mick Taylor. So here’s hoping the Stones do right by their real fans and bring Taylor on stage in NJ for a few great songs (Sway, CYHMK, Plundered My Soul and Midnight Rambler). If they do – I am more than OK with the guests.

please help me to understand, as that many of you seem always really informed.
we will have 3 new guests appearing, it seems songs are already decided. going down for the black keys, gimme shelter for lady gaga and bruce for jjf or another song already played in the previous 3 gigs.
so, no new songs are coming?
is everything already decided? there are people who already wrote the setlist.

i don't want to complain too much because it is the 50th anniversary, it is a celebration and a big party for the biggest band of the history, so everything is ok at the end. but i know they rehearsed many more songs, i think that in ny they are rehearsing too, but at the 3rd concert surprise songs, rarities etc were already finished.. is it not strange?
