My Brooklyn wishlist/setlist

This would be my wishlist foor Brooklyn. I have only included songs they have rehearsed for this tour, arranged them more or less in the order that could be expected based on the last two shows, included most of the warhorses that we can expect but had to remove some based on my wishful thinking...

Here we go:

1. Route 66
2. Under My Thumb
3. Last Time
4. Paint It Black
5. Gimme Shelter - with guest ???
6. Heartbreaker
7. Lady Jane or Waiting On A Friend
8. Everybody Needs Somebody To Love - with special guest ???
9. Out Of Control
10.One More Shot
11.Doom & Gloom
12.It's Only Rock n' Roll - hopefully with Bill
13.Honky Tonk Women - hopefully with Bill
14.Before They Make Me Run
15.Happy
16.Can't You Hear Me Knocking - with MT
17.Sway - with MT
18.Sympathy For The Devil
19.Bitch
20.Street Fighting Man
21.You Can't Always Get What You Want
22.Jumping Jack Flash
23.Satisfaction

I would have loved to get rid of more warhorses (or maybe I would have even loved to hear stuff like Brown Sugar & SMU), but I wanted to stay realistic and not go to 25-30 songs.
So what do you think, would a setlist like this please everybody?

there are no setlists to please all people. choose the one that pleases you and then hope for the best and the others can just sob in their cornflakes.

Yeah, they should always do two nights, one only rarities and one only warhorses... and those who want both would have to go on both nights!

I think the Brooklyn show will be the best of the three. I think they will break out some songs for this show and the Newark shows will be identical, with Thursday being the dres rehearsal for the PPV. The Stones always play it safe when filming, so i think Brooklyn will be THE SHOW.

That is a interesting view LSTNT however...the Stones also tend to really "turn it on" and work extra hard when they know the cameras are rolling.

I saw several shows all over on the Bigger Bang tour and in Austin, they were ON FIRE! Noticable difference from other gigs. Now that could also be a coincidence..

Have there been others here who have attented multiple shows in same tour where one was filmed? Would like to get opinions from them.

You'll get most of that setlist.

I wish they'd have played Heartbreaker, but you cannot have everything and to see my son's face light up when they came on stage on Sunday was worth more than money can buy.

I will take that to my grave.

My wish would be Bill and Mick T playing in one song (preferably in several songs) which would mean the return of the classical 69-74 lineup! Wishful thinking? I hope not...

I'd like Monkey Man and Stray Cat Blues worked in somewhere during this mini tour

Stray Cat Blues for sure. Monkey Man and Live With Me have been done to death.

I would absolutely love Stray Cat Blues, one of my favourites... but as I said I included only song that they have rehearsed.

Is Wyman still afraid to fly in an airplane, and won't?

20 years ago when my wife told me she was pregnant my first thought was when I'm 60 this kid would be 20! What will we have in common, will we do things together? Well here we are am I'm heading to New York with my daughter to see the Stones! The first time I saw them was at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, July 1966.Crazy to think 46 years later that 13 year old kid is now going to see his favorite rock band with a second generation Stones Freak! These are some of the songs I hope get slotted into the set list:
Under My Thumb
Not Fade Away (1st song they played at 1966 show)
Little Queenie (carol would be cool but they didn't practice)
Love in Vain
Jigsaw Puzzel (did not practice...just dreaming)
Sway
Can't You Hear Me Knocking
Rip This Joint
Connection (still dreaming)
Stray Cat Blues

Are there setlists from the production rehearsals in Wembley available? Did they rehearse any songs there that were not rehearsed in Bondy?

I predict that Keith does Run, Run Rudolph for at least one of the US shows.
