Goin' Down is not the Stones song I'm Going Down from Metamorphosis.

It's a blues standard: Goin' Down.

See here:

This matter was sorted out during the Stones' rehearsals of the song.

the Freddy King one
great ! Keith played it at the guitar legend in Sevilla in'92
I'm sure it was cool with Jeff Beck

Must be about time for Keith's set now, after band introductions or something.

I'm calling BS on the Stones twitter - or at least fully scripted - they shared the Beck WITH MICK'S INTRO - then removed it because it hit in the wrong spot - NOW they share Mick's intro again - ugh - this is NO WAY to follow a concert-

Nah. It was tweeted simultaneously by other people. Twitter tubes problems I guess.

Out Of Control. Hell yeah.

actually no - it was tweeted BEFORE all down the line -I WATCHED it disappear - SCRIPTED

Somebody posted "All down the Line" here already on the forum when there was still "Wild Horses" as the newest official tweet. They forgot to refresh their Twitter messages for several minutes. Then they announced Jeff Beck. Apparently then they realized, that they forgot to tweet "All down the Line" and removed the Beck tweet to not get a wrong order. So they tweeted "All down the Line" and after that added the Beck info again.

At an "end of recording party", Beck was congratulated by Don Nix on his version of "Going Down", which Nix had written and which was originally released by the band Moloch in 1969.[3] Freddie King had covered the song in 1971.

A certain Paul Cashmere brought this up:

"I’m Going Down (with Jeff Beck) (from Metamorphosis, 1969)"

I'm sure he mixes things up. With Beck playing, it must be the old blues tune, not the Stones outtake.

@Noise11Tweets

Rolling Stones track 8 1969 rarity 'I'm Going Down' with Jeff Beck #StonesO2

Incredible; after all those years. Wonder if Ronnie and Keith messed up the chord-changes on that, or if it went smooth...

I bet it was the Freddie King number, not the Stones tune.

I thought it would be the Freddie King number, but buffalo81's post claims something else. Well, we'll know soon
Notice that i didn´t say it`s a fact, i just read the tweet...
