I just registered to follow informations about theses gigs in Paris.

As far as i'm concerned, i'll probably go to Mogador tonight and see what happens there.

Well I made a few phone calls and I think there is some confusion on who's been invited. It's the funds' clients (many doctors apparently) more than "bankers" although they would have saved some tix for employees I suppose.

I wonder if the Stones keep the 150 (according to Le Monde) guests they had at the Trabendo.

Do you mean a side one maybe ? Apparently the capacity of Mogador is 1600 (800 floor, 400 corbeille, 400 balcon). I wonder if they can remove the seats on the floor to bump that up.

The thing is, they would have to remove the seats, and to put them back ASAP for tomorrow "Sister Act" show. Not sure if it's possible in such short notice.

Something extraordinary happened at Le Trabendo on Thrusday night : 15 minutes before show time, they let 80 people in for free ! Only in France, baby...I wish you were there.

Just called the theater...no tickets on sale and no infos about a Stones concert tonight kindly replied the lady.....and me I'm pope John Paul II back from the grave !

Well the "no tickets for sale" part is probably correct ;-)

@manu - wasn't it 50 people ? I'm still not clear whether they let everyone that was there in (i.e. did they count people they were letting in) or were some people left out? I think they could do that because they had complete control for the show, basically it was a Stones private gig that they got Encore to organize for them and charge a minimal price so that they could control who was getting in.

I was part of the first people they let go. But they did not count, that's for sure.
We were not so many to wait outside (less than a hundred people, maybe 50 to 80). It was mostly journalastites and photographers who themselves are not returned.
I think they left in all the fans. There was still space in the hall during the live.

Tonight it's going to be different. If this is a company that has paid for her clients, she does not want to see another person on the inside!

Yes tonight they won't be letting people in like that for sure.

Many metalic protections, cops, security...

at 3 PM only 30 fans.

For information backdoor is 83 rue Saint Lazare, some fans waiting there.

Show is confirmed (had it to be ???).

there was no media, no tv , no radio. amazing ?

But i have seen in the street security meeting of civil-dressed cops,
they were 10 , with prepared map of operations , funny

I passed noon, only 5 persons.
Stage sets were entered into the theater.

Question:

Somebody know, how much the Investment Fund (Carmignac Gestion) has paid for this private concert tonight?

Remembers me of the idea some years ago: a Club gig, only for - and sponsored by - IORR-fans …
