Great to hear it. It's the Stones in 2012 so don't expect a vintage 70s sound but I like it. First listen and it sounds like a cross between You Got Me Rocking and Rough Justice. Great riff. Ronnie playing an elastic sounding solo a la Undercover.
Yeah.. I've been singing Rough Justice since I heard Doom and Gloom.

Sounds like a hard rock band trying to play a Rolling Stones song.

'One More Shot' is Keith's song, initially, so I'd expect him to be more prominent on that one.

I really think Jagger doesn't mind releasing a solo song as a 'Stones' track.

Good point. I meant whenever a mere rock band tries to play something like Brown Sugar, the chords are there, but the groove never is.
Where's the swing? It's literally like a Stones song a computer program would put together, with all the charm that entails.
the usual suspects will get on my case for not being a "real fan", but is Charlie Watts really on this track? Is Keith? is Ronnie?
Also, the riff faintly reminds me off a certain ZZ Top song, which I do not say as a compliment.

I really like the intro by Keith Richards..grinding, dangerous, just beautiful. Anyone who thinks that Keith should hang up the guitar needs to hang it up himself. I hope to hear this song live at a live concert soon.
Anyone want to comment on Keith's playing, or is it Pick on Charlie week?
The intro is Mick. Keith comes in with the second guitar, which is a bit more sparse.

Made me think of God Gave Me Everything, so maybe it's Lenny?
Why did it make you of GGME? Can't hear the resemblance myself.
i thought the same! it's a typical jagger rocker just as GGME
