Actually, I'm really looking forward to reading Bobby's book but not due to the minions/toadies/creepers...But maybe our derisive feelings towards the minions might be job envy. Let's face it - wouldn't it be fun making up Keith's tweets? HA - I think the "official Keith" should assign tweeting to the folks at IORR. Imagine the picante tweets this team might come up with.

I've been aware of the "look inside" thing but often it's just a few pages at the front and end of the book, with this book it's the whole thing!

Page 116-117, Bobby is describing how CYHMK fell apart on tour in 1971!

I think you'll find they leave out a lot of key stuff. When I first looked at Bill German's book online, it was missing big chunks even though at first glance it looked like they gave you most of it. Hey - do writers a favor - buy the book!

Looks like the celebrated author thing is catching on. These guys didn't take long to realize it's the only game left where the royalty checks will still pay the bills! Writers are the new rock stars. peace

I'm going to hold off commenting until I can get a look at the thing. I've heard he's a lot more canny than he lets on, so it could be a good read. It absolutely has to be better than that mess Ronnie 'wrote'.

I wondered too that nobody here seemed so interested.
Bobby Keys has been a key-figure in Stonesland for many years and also worked with lots of other great people (Delaney & B.,Clapton, Cockers Mad Dogs, G.Harrison, etc.etc.).

Don't know about his style yet but this could be a real good read. I'll get it anyhow.
Btw I can only read the first 15 pages on the net . .

I'm a member but I tell you, it wasn't easy to get in - it was almost as hard as getting into IORR but well worth it.
