I was invited to see Queen at the Royal Albert Hall in a private box in 1982

Unfortunately they cancelled the concert as the roof would not take the weight of the lighting rig.

Never got round to seeing them

Johnny Thunders - Glasgow Nightmoves Oct 84, with Hanoi Rocks. me and my mate bottled it, tho we probably never would have got in, as we were only 13, and it was a licences venue. I have a recording of Thunders show that night, and it sounds absolutely crazy. Got to see Hanoi Rocks about 20 Years later, as well as the remaining New York Dolls.

Missed Elvis on his last visit to Macon.

Coulda seen Stevie Ray Vaughn one New Year's Eve at the Fox in Atlanta.

Parent's wouldn't let me go see George Harrison with "hippie" cousin in 1974.

Well there are many bands I didn't get to see on account of them being before my time, but those don't count. I really didn't miss out on any of the bands I wanted to see that have been around during my lifetime. I was lucky to get to see Nirvana in '93 (I was only 13 and got grounded when my parents found out I wasn't where I told them I was going) and all the other bands I liked at the time I got to see.

The only one I really missed out on and was kicking myself over was Soundgarden. But luckily they got back together and went on tour so I got to see them.

Rolling Stones 1981 in Seattle...but I would have had to run away from home and cross the border without a passport.

The Who
Ol' Blue Eyes in Vegas
Blind Faith
