I've been doing errands all morning and now I've just sat down in front of the computer, listening to CNN (a little depressing) and realizing that a coffee would hit the spot very well right now.

...OK, coffee is tasting good, great idea.

I now have my Some Girls 'mixed' CD on, where I've integrated both CD's onto one, but had to take off Miss You because of space limitations.

The lead cut is...Some Girls. These songs fit very well together....

Love Claudine...Mick has such a wry sense of humour.

Still surfing IORR and listening to PBS special , '60's Pop , Rock and Soul .

Watch it if you can , some of them ( songs and artists ) have held up pretty well .
Looking at the audience though is depressing . I always say to myself " God , those people look old. " Then I realize that they are my peers , LOL !

At the beach in Florianólpolis (Canasvieiras) enjoying a beer or more - later a Caipirinha or more. 25 C and sun - wonderful. 2 weeks more.
Florianólpolis (Canasvieiras) is wonderful to spend the vacation.

I can smell that beach here near Chicago.

just finished a very nice baked salmon dinner...whilst listening to satcho and duke ellington from this uber cool 5 LP box set I bought about a year ago and never listened to, called "Ten Great Bands", so one side for each band, along with Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton, Glen Miller, Artie Shaw, and Count Basie.

It is in pristine condition and was issued in 1962...I don't feel worthy, especially after picking this up for about $3...it's ridiculous what used LPs in this condition can be worth.

That is a fact man, it makes no sense how mint condition LPs can sell for so low... it seems inevitable that sooner or later, if they are taken care of, that they have to go up in value.... they sure cant get much cheaper.... I have found some gems for 50 cents to a buck.
