COOOOOOOOOOL - just compare this to the re-release of Ladies & Gentlemen! What a huge difference, concerning video- and audioquality (I the performance in L&G but always dislike the sloopy audiomix). Looking really forward to this one on blu ray and CD!
Thank you for sharing that info. I have played "Handsome girls" so many times over the years and defended the 78 US Tour many times on this board as being one of their very best. I have the video boot but the image quality is quite poor so it is @#$%& great that they have cleaned up the film and they are releasing it now. Rock and Roll, Mops
Uhhhhh This one looks awesome and sounds like pure rock'n'roll. I'm so glad that they are going to release stuff from the days, that I missed due to my age.
And next year the special Tattoo You box with upgraded Hampton 1981 as supporting DVD/CD release. Well, it looks as if there comes no end in this dream.
AWESOME!! everyone wants to cash in on the the anniversary!! I love it!! a lot of great stuff will pop up... I ve been waiting for this one for ages! AWESOME AWESOME
It's fantastic that Ladies and Gentlemen got an official release but we had already seen it complete and in pretty decent quality, so there were no surprises but this is on a different level.
It's interesting to note that by the time they got to Ft. Worth, Mick had ditched the hideous red cap and red leather jacket. They appear much more "conventional" - at least in these clips.
