HI Folks, listened to BBC 2 this morning at 8:15 sharp, everyone raving about it, Chris Evans played it TWICE back to back, really Stones at their best, great beat, snarling guitars, Mick in great vocal form, livley up tempo unlike the title Doom and Gloom

Out of all the many threads and pages of discussion already about the song, I was waiting and hoping for bestfour to give us his opinion. Thankful am I for you starting your own thread about it! Hooray!

It's got an Undercover vibe... And it rocks like a Ronnie song, Keith is somewhat burried but still recognizeable.. Great song, allthough something is off with the sound just like the Paris Forty Licks 4
songs. Production/sound is not in the league as Bridges and Voodoo.

Has that DIRTY Stones sound, I like it a LOT!!!

The Stones have LOTS of brilliant singles and album tracks. This is not one of them.

Doesn't sound like Charlie drumming, neither do I hear much Keith and Ronnie, what i do hear is an old ZZTOp riff mixed with Jaggeresque musings. Not bad though, just not a thoroughbred.

But that's Keith right up front, revving the motor. O, can you not hear, people!

It's a rump-shaking tune, giving me hope to carry on.
