Cds arrived by mail only today, but I've been listening to this for quite a while now.

Just a quick note.

If possible, I love it even more than WA one (and I reaaaally love that first WA).

Completely different work. This is clean, no insects, chatting and laughing in the background. More of a studio work. Keith and other session men way higher in the mix.

In episode 1 the additions provided by musicians Keith took on board were so minimal and ethereal that the authenticy of the original band was almost uncompromised. In episode 2 the additions are an integral part of the sound.

The music is timeless, absolutely stunning.

It seems that these were less likely recorded in KR's living room.

I like it a lot. I love to play it in the morning when I just got out of bed, enjoy my first cigarette and my coffee.

concerning WA I&II, is really very good. it´s really nice listen the album in the morning.....

yes, it´s a great album (WAII) but the songs itself are mostly the same, some are renamed.

Hinds died in 2005, so the main traks were recorded some time before the Bigger Bang tour. Does anybody know when Keith recorded his electric guitar parts?

this is such beautiful music ... but i have a question about the cover art:
could those of you who bought the "regular" CD (not the deluxe version and not the DL-only version)
let me know whether the lion image on the cover is uniformly brown? sorry, i don't quite know how to express this:
on my copy the lion's front legs and rear paws are like ... not all-the-way printed. scuffed-looking.
that's not how it looks in the on-line pictures so i'm wondering if mine's normal or if i got a flawed copy.

so do the rest of you have fully-printed lions or scruffy ones, please and thank you?

I was wondering about that myself. Same thing on my copy.

I'd say it's the same docu as was available as an online stream from the WA website
