Infinidad de felicitaciones a los Uruguayos!!!!
Rockandosis guardate mas stones para el proximo viernes 2 y el luego el martes 6, y para la final quien sabe,....you can't always get what you want...

Now really starts de World Cup.
One match and the loser is sent off.
The most logic would be Uruguay playing a semifinal against Brazil...or maybe Holland, who knows? and on the other side even I think everything could happen, I foresee Argentina against Spain and a final with two southamerican countries.

Ghana just scored USA 0 - Ghana 1 minute 5 first half

1-1 Great. Funny comment on Dutch TV why USA is playing so much better in 2nd half. During the half time break their coach told them: "If you loose, Bill Clinton will play saxophone for you. If you win, you can all go to a Rolling Stones concert". smiling smiley

tick tock tick tock....time is up : (

That 2nd goal for Ghana was amaizng.....they earned it.
Congrats to Ghana and good luck going forward.

Uruguay had to be delighted with both teams wearing themselves out.
I am excited for the matches tommorow...should be fun even more watching those great teams.

PS
note to the USA team, please try to remember this in 4 years, asa rule of thumb,
IT IS A BAD IDEA TO ALLOW THE OTHER TEAM TO SCORE A GOAL EARLY EVERY GAME!!!!

Besides that, we are really proud of you guys, 16th best in the world aint too shabby,
plus we know that right now there are some 12 year kids here in the USA who are saying
"I wanna be like Landon Donovan" I wanna play in the 2014 World Cup.

1st half: Ghana; 2nd half: USA; 30 min. extra: Ghana, but USA sometimes threatening. Ghana in the end deserved to win, but the USA players deserve compliments, especially as for the 2nd half. It was a fair, enjoyable and finally exciting game. I'm really sorry for you Max and hopefully you're not too disappointed. The USA really count in football now!

PS: I won't be surprised when Holland is kicked out by Slovakia this Monday. Those Slovaks have nothing to loose, but Holland has: its reputation.

Thanks man, yeah we are pretty bummed, but we wont be the last to
feel this way, 13 more will fall before a WORLD CHAMPION is crowned, but
this is part of the deal, and also why the WORLD CHAMPIONS AND CUP OWNERS will feel SO GREAT!!!

We are ready for today's games. I am going to study how these teams play.
I am not informed enoiugh to know who will win it all, so I wont say who I
pulling for in the finals but as long at the games are well played and fairly called I will be happy.

Should be threatening news for the english team in case Mick is planning to visit
this afternoon´s match Germany vs England.

Remember World Cup 2006 when he popped up to watch the quarterfinal beetween
Portugal vs England with his son and England lost it by penalties.( Rooney getting the red card...)

World Cup 1998 in France he showed up at the quarterfinal England vs Argentina,
guess who lost it with Beckham getting the red card...

Go, England, go!
I might have a german family name, but in football - I'm English. Three Lions on my chest today. And I hope Rooney and that very strange behaved football become friends again today. My guess: England 2. Germany 1.

And I refuse to piss on Bono. He's one of many Irish people I admire.
