Goodbye, farewell and amen
Date: May 19, 2010 20:46

After 4 years of posting on this forum, first as Chav Watch then as Sir Craven, I am calling it a day.

Love the new Exile but wouldn't dream of going to see another Licks/ABB style show. It's time for me to bail out and move on to pastures new.

Good luck and enjoy the future (whatever it brings).

Just cause you don't want to see them live now doesn't mean you shouldn't still consider yourself a fan.

In any event - best wishes to you - and drop back in sometime.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I don't understand why people feel the need to do these things, and make these announcements. Disappear and come back later if you want to, or not. I don't really care.

The only reason I hang around at all is because I've got too much time invested and am waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Listen man, Fulham should have won. Don't take it so bad. Been a bad week.

Once an IORRer always an IORRer. You'll be back.

Be well Craven. Be Well. I understand your feelings. We all must move on. I too will not attend ANY concert that seats more than 10,000 people unless I go for free or I am in the first 50 rows.

I just thought it would be rude to leave without saying goodbye. So, goodbye again. Right, that was the last post from me.

"it's time for me to bail out and move on to pastures new"

Ohhhh do I envy you! You've just discovered music with fine-tuned instruments, straight and clear-minded performers, sonic landscapes that go beyond the pentatonic scale.
Us folks at IORR, we'll stick to the Stones for a while! >grinning smiley<

a very bad moment to do that, Sir Craven! have fun anyway, remember to listen Sticky Fingers and all once in a while winking smiley

and there's some new posters that quite mhm don't get the feeling right here I guess. cheer up people and don't comment if you've only got to say you didn't care.

I understand. The love for stones comes and goes ever since 1969 for me. Sometimes you gotta give it a break. Those last songs are in Micks' words kiss off songs, its hard not to get miffed by them they leave you kind of burned out. At least they do me. I hope you succeed in finding a happier place I wish I could as well. It feels like a morbid fascination sometimes.

Why stop posting? There is no obligation to participate on a regular basis, is there? Many just lurk and air their views once in a blue moon. You could be the same.
