It looks like Universal is doing all the possible to get Exile at #1 in UK:
- In Amazon the price went down to 5.99 for the regular version and peak 35-13 on the Top 100 with the Deluxe Version at #1.
- In Itunes the whole package (CD 1 + CD 2 + 2 Videos) went from 18.99 to 10.99 yesterday. The album zooms 19-5 on the chart.
On Friday midweeks the album remains at #1 with about 600 copies of difference, the Saturday sales are very strong (about 30-35% of the weeks's total) and pop albums are better sellers than rock albums.

In asda in slough uk the deluxe is going for £10-99p
and they got loads in store.
So to help the stones ive hired a mini bus,
so on saturday i be transporting pensioners to asda for free
to buy the exile deluxe edition.
And if they dont buy the cd, they will not get
a lift back home, sorry to be hard but its tough at the top.
So im doing my bit for the stones.
Its only rock n roll, but its costing me ££££££.

That chart doesn't even show the Stones in the Top 5. What the hell is wrong with the UK? Lady GaGa Remix Album?

Looks like Stones are still number one in UK at this point, with 1 day 15 hours to go until official chart is announced.
Just out of curiosity, what is the actual time for the cut off of sales for the week before they are eligible to make the charts?
