I don't care about this review, anybody giving 4/5 for Exile is non-credible for me!
and I'm more than half-serious now.

Looks like Jagger in the chair and Miller on the floor.

And it probably was Jagger's protracted professionalism.

Other inaccuracies seem inevitable . . .

For not ever having many pictures of Jimmy Miller, that one of him on the floor is pretty funny.

I don't know where it is but there is one picture of Miller where he looks like a ragged out roadie. It's supreme! I think I've only ever seen maybe 4 pictures of the dude with the Stones. That one there is new to me! Is that...when was that? Let It Bleed time, end of 1971/early 72 for Exile or Goats Head Soup? Mick's haircut was similar to that one for those times wasn't it?

...people who do such errors on a picture can't do a good record's critic......
(Keith,Mick Jagger on chair,Jimmy on the ground)..very surprising from a very
talented magazine...

just to be clear....i didn't say it was MJ...just saying that's what the caption said.
i was pointing out the error.

i haven't seen enough photos of Miller or Parsons to know for sure....but I would
believe the Rolling Stone Magazine caption...that it's Miller.

Exactly. MOJO is dead for me now on. A sign of total historical ignorance, stupidity and idiotic self-importance. Let they wank by themselves. I don't bother even to read the article.

You know, it is with these kind of issues I check the credibility of a paper/journal/magazine. How they are able to deal with topics that are way beyond anything they represent. MOJO just didn't pass. Small people they are. They just lost one reader.'

If they think that the BEST - as it is said there - Stones album is worth of 4/5 I don't think a Rolling Stones fan has any reason to read their stuff. Well, they can argue that it is barely an opinion of one particular writer, but bullshit: it is the decision of MOJO to let a person like that to write, and it is nothing but their judgment to release crap like that.

Let us all boycott MOJO!

This is a perfect example of how things get out of hand on this site?

One jouno makes a slight error on a picture credit and the whole article is written off?

Madness.....

You got his opinion on the record, you either agree or not BUT a miss credit on the photo doesn't really warrant "A sign of total historical ignorance, stupidity and idiotic self-importance."

Me I'm glad to see MOJO shares my point of view : the extra CD should have been EOMS alt. versions only.
Who cares about half-finished riffs from 71... if they weren't decent then, why should they be now?

I don't give a shit about having some particular credits right or wrong (I didn't even recognize it, and I don't bother even read the sucker)- but if a "critic" gives 4/5 of EXILE that is a sign of total historical ignorance, stupidity and idiotic self-importance, and I don't respect a rock magazine that has people like that on board. Not my cup of tea.

If I see a review giving 4/5 to EXILE ON MAIN STREET - yes: EXILE ON MAIN STREET!!! - I don't think it has anything to offer me. Why should I read that crap?

I think he docked a star because he doesn't like the 'outtakes', which is either a fair point or an outrage of outrageous proportions, depending which side of the fence you sit on about the merits of the 'new' old songs. I like Plundered My Soul, but it doesn't belong on the Exile reissue.
