They were amazing live!
I always felt he was trying to be Jim Morrison.
The Deadstring Brothers sound alot like the Stones.
Way too much sus 4's and cod exile-isms.
When those sus'es come in at the right place every time (in this kind of country rock), it gets less powerful and the effect of it gets lost along the way, imo.
This band reminded me of the Georgia Satellites.
An absolutely great song. I have the vinyl. Always tricks people into thinking it's the real deal.
I believe the lead singer is now the front man for a tribute act?

The intro of "Bohemian like You" (Dandy Worhols) is clearly "Brown Sugar" 's intro. And, speaking about Primal Scream, i think that "Loaded" is based on the rhythm of SFTD.
