Coloured Vinyl

I was trawling through my old vinyl collection the other day and found a couple of my old Stones LP's (showing my age here) I've got Let it Bleed in red vinyl and another kind of best of in green vinyl plus a poor sound quality picture disc....just wondered what anybody else has on coloured vinyl?

I have a copy of Between the Buttons on yellow vinyl. Crappy sounds quality but cool-looking, like a big lemon lollypop.

I had the biggest crush on Linda Ronstadt in the seventies.
I used to work the concession stand at a film theatre that had the film FM playing when I worked.

Friggin' NOBODY got popcorn when Ronstadt's part in the film came on!

Brilliant...that Sgt Pepper must be worth a small fortune, hang on to that one. Yes Linda was a babe - great pair of legs....music was less impressive!

I've got several Bealtes picture discs and colored vinyl (the white album in white of course is one of them).

Moody Blue by Elvis I have on blue vinyl.

I've got the Stones Brown Sugar single that looks like the Sticky Fingers album.

Interesting question. I'm sure I have others, I just haven't flipped through my vinyl collection in a while.

This is an impressive array of stones coloured vinyl....I really hope vinyl makes a bigger come back, Nothing used to beat that feeling of buying an LP strtched sealed then getting it home and opening it up to find all the little extras you would sometimes get - posters, stickers (I still have my original Exile postcards!)and the smell of freshly pressed vinyl. Of course the flip side of this was the crackles and pop and skips after you had played the record to death, I still wince at certain points when I listen to some of my stones cd's , where there used to be a jump on my vinyl copy. Sorry to anyone who aint as old as I am - just a bit of nostalgia!

Thanks for posting your coloured vinyl info - really interesting stuff. Was there ever a single, 12 inch or LP in the shape of the Stones Tongue?
