Roseland Ballroom, NY 2002 - They did a great soul-based show.

Tucson 1978 - Band was on fire. Linda Ronstadt came on in hot pants to do Tumbling Dice.

LA Forum 1975 - Great because it was my first Stones show. Unfortunately I never got to see them live during the Taylor era.

The best shows I have seen (other than on DVD!). Well I haven't seen them near as many times as some folks here. My first show was '81. And was my least favorite.

Well it would be the Licks tour, 2 nights in Singapore. Fantastic shows! Next would be second night Steel Wheels Show Alpine Valley. Next, A Bigger Bang Tour, Shanghai, mostly for its historical merit and the adventure of traveling to Shanghai to see them.

My one & only time: 10/23/1997 at Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, Landover, MD.

About a week before the concert, I heard on a local classic rock station that The Rolling Stones had just released a number of tickets for this previously "sold out" show. I immediately went to the local Ticketmaster office and asked for a pair. When the person at the counter pulled up the available seats, she exclaimed, "THESE ARE AWESOME SEATS!!!" The seats were in Section 110, right off the field and a stone's throw from the stage. The rumor is that The Stones had held on to a large number of tickets close to the stage and then released them at the last minute to throw off the scalpers.

A close second: Hollywood Bowl '66

Cleveland, June 1975. When the Stones walked out on stage and Honky Tonk Women was blaring that was it for me. I've seen them 75+ times since and I'm still searching for that feeling I got from the first 30 seconds of Cleveland 1975.

Chicago '97 (second night) was AWESOME

1975- My first concert. opening night July 9, 1975 LA Forum. Raw. Lotus stage was fantastic.
1989 -Steel Wheels opening night, LA Memorial Coliseum. Incredible stage, great set list. Living Color and Guns & Roses also played.
1994- Voodoo Lounge- The Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA. Sat front row closing night. Awesome set list.
1997- Bridges to Babylon- Dodger Stadium. LA,CA.20 rows center stage. Fantastic sound and set list.
1981 was also very good. Keith ripped on guitar.

The Worst- 1999 No Security in Charlotte,NC. Great seats but horrible sound and The worst mix ever. Lyrics bearly audible. Sound got better on the second stage.
Overall, disappointing.

Yes, terrible sound quality in the Amsterdam Arena, was there in 2007, the roof was closed, muddy sound with echoes then ...

Music: probably Zurich 2006
Dangerous: MSG 2003 (I had tickets way up the top but managed to get in the first section. I spent half a concert tackeling the security ...)
Party: Milano 2003 hand down (with Paris 95 - under the pouring rain - close second)
Fun: Torino 90, you never forget the first time!
