Streets of Love was brilliant LIVE (like in Atlantic City)

I was there. My jaw dropped over Micks performance. Brilliant is right.

I think that it's interesting that it is so hard to think of any really BAD tracks from their early albums. When they were in their element, playing the blues, they really couldn't do any wrong. Once they started taking more risks - Aftermath, Between the Buttons, TSMR . . . there were a few more misses.

<Yeah - how can anyone diss Continental Drift? It's the last time the band truly reached out to try something different>

Well, I would say they tried something different with Migh As Well Get Juiced, too. But, imo they didn't succeed...

I don't like a good portion of the songs released since 1974 (Some girls - the album included. One of the most overrated albums in the history of overrated albums). There a a few good song on each album since then but most of the stuff doesn't do much for me. They were a brilliant recording band from 1965 until 1973. Then it went downhill. At least for me.

can´t understand why someone can put shattered, whip, or some gilrs on this list. not even as a kind of joke! (some jokes are not ment to be!smiling smiley)))) My personal "Worst-Ever Stones Song On an Official Release" list is much shorter:
1. Blinded by love
2. Indian Girl
3. Any Way You Look At It

Of course there are a couple of stones songs i personally don´t like too much, but without suffering when i here them (Always suffering, Sweethearts etc) ....

<I think that it's interesting that it is so hard to think of any really BAD tracks from their early albums.>

Personally, I can do without the following songs from the early era:

Congratulations
Long, Long While
The Singer Not The Song
Empty Heart
Grown Up Wrong
Susie Q
Gotta Get Away
Gomper
Who's Been Sleeping Here
Complicated
Sing This All Together
On With The Show

Agree on that one, Rip. I'll throw in its iorr-successor as well; Short & Curlies, which is even worse

IMO this is a great song. Lyrics are great, has a great bluesy/gospel feel with excellent soulful background vocals.

I put this on. Leslie speaker, "scar you with my brand" second reference to facial disfigurement on the album, "really want to be my man" gay reference, Taylor lets rip (to this degree on any other studio track?), Lyrics pretty much shite, track wasted potential. At least two minutes too long.

A head scratcher indeed.

New Faces -- stupid lyric, pandering harpsichord, Jagger solo leftover.

Thoroughly forgettable.

Zack No offense -

put this on. Leslie speaker, "scar you with my brand" second reference to facial disfigurement on the album, "really want to be my man" gay reference,

Actually the lyric is "if you really want me to be your man" did not look it up just took a cursory listen on You Tube.

Love this song...It makes me think about all those talked about Bianca and Mick's fights.

What does the scar reference has to do with the face, is like branding a horse or a cow as in MY PROPERTY, not someone's face. The "really want to be my man" part I always thought of it as the girls reply.

Yeah yeah. As you may have read, it's tongue in cheek. And probably still way too long to really even be a double album anyway. I was gonna include Start Me Up but decided to leave it out.

It is a funny list though. For some people I guess it could be named Dirty Work.

I kind of like Sweet Neo Con, especially the lyrics. I guess it's a European thing.
