deardoctortake1--Your "Some of Baltimore 69 was filmed, as a test, but not used for the movie, The quality of the performance I was told in the film was not useful for the Gimme Shelter movie." Who ever told you may have sounded convincing but it wasn't true.. I didn't trust my memory so I double checked with Albert Maysles...and he said.
Dear Ron,
We didn't start filming until Madison Square Garden so nothing shot of the Baltimore concert.
Best,
Al

Hi Mr SCHNEIDER,
In the Gimme Shelter Movie, when the STONES came in their Hotel Room, Keith or Mick wanted to listen to "Brown Sugar" askin'someone to find and play the tape!
You were in this room with them and another guy.
I always thought that this scene, was played for the movie because it fit with,
but it seems that there was lots of fun behind . Did they listen to the tapes all night long ? Could you tell us more ! And who's the guy in the room with you and Mick & Keith?

After we heard a couple of songs we all went off to our own rooms to unwind..they may have played on. Yes it was Stanley..and I believe that the music made it fun...it was some great music and you could see we had fun.

Tis a great part of the film...
It has to be noted that Stanley's elbow to waist thang at 0.29 and Keith's arm throw at 1.18 are two of the coolest body movements of all time.

Ah, good old Gram Parsons. "Yes, the band I rode in with and played with
can take the car back to SF. You remember, the one I rode in with you?
Well, you guys take the car, and I'll ride back on the helicopter with the Stones."
