Though I doubt they will mount any more large tours I would certainly be interested in any new tour just to see how bad they would be this go round or if one of them would drop dead on stage of a heart attack. I say DO IT boys

Last time I checked it wasn't compulsatory to attend, you can just stay at home and relive in any way you can the 1972 tour.

Me (and I'm sure many others) just can't wait for them to hit the road. Out of tune, out of time, I don't care. They're not the LSO and I'm sure they never pretended to be.

Isn't saying 'Universal Reissues and Re-release Tour' as redundant and as bad and ignorant (unless it's on purpose, of course) as saying ATM machine and PIN number and GPS system?

Nope. I saw them in Frankfurt, yeah the sound was real bad - but blame the venue for closing the roof, not the Stones.
...and, I was glad I got to see them in Paris and Hamburg after that. I'm sure I'll enjoy another chance to see them.

That's a highly valid remark as far as I'm concerned.
If they were to tour again, I'd probably go to shows in Scandinavia and maybe Paris or Berlin.
I think London is out of the question for me this time around due to high ticket prices.

absolutely love poor tours like the '78 one....touring behind the poor Some Girls lp...resulting in the poor Handsome Girls box set.......how can they torture people like this?

If you don't like the Stones to tour because you don't like then live anymore then it is a pretty selfish comment to say that they should not tour because of your own personal preferences. There are millions on people in the world - including me - who want to see them live. Period.

You are so right BV and I agree with you 100%. I love the Stones, seen them 15 times or more. I will defintely see them again if they decide to tour. I am really tired of reading bad remarks concerning the boys. Just keep it to yourself. This is suppose to be a happy board with no winers. If they have a off day performance thats okay , doesn't everyone even us?

It was a bit hit and miss lets be honest (the gigs as well as the album)

I hope the 2010 tour happens. I'll go and see a couple of shows and I am sure it'll be exciting. Why to wish that they don't tour? Just hope that you stay home the next time they play in your town.

Me too. Fine with me if there is one less person trying to get good seats! I can't wait to see them. They are really the only band I get excited about to see live. I have seen some amazing musicians, but whenever I am at a show, all I can think about is how I wish it was the Stones. (it may be a sickness lol)

The Rolling Stones are happy news. They are like a sunrise. People look forward to experiencing it. If you don't like the sunrise then stay inside and enjoy what's left. Peronally I love the Stones and I do look forward to being on the road again.

legit question:

what's more self-ish? a person who wants them to tour because he/she wants to see them again despite the risk to their legacy or a person who doesn't want them to tour because he/she wants the legacy preserved?

i don't presume to know the answer, but i'm sure it's out there blowing in the wind or something....
