Its pretty hard to get and finding it on e-bay will cost a packet. Absolutely superb EP though, including a glorious version of "Ghost of Tom Joad".

I thought I'd found a website not that long ago where you could still purchase this EP by donating $100 to PBS. I'll have to research again now, but I didn't do it because I couldn't justify the $100 for 5 songs of Bruce, as much as I love him. I mean it's not the Stones LOL

I'll have to look for one of those Promos as well - I really hate when artists do iTunes only crap. What about us hardcore album loving fans?!?!?!

I understand, however, please keep the support for PBS, which is a good cause. They recently had a four part series covering the origins of Blues music. It was unbelievably moving. Also, it's neat to wake up early on a Sunday morning,turning on the tube to catch artists from the past such as Cheryl Lynn, Four Tops, etc... performing live. In addition, Austin City Limits has been a winner for the most part. Finally, PBS does a great job of presenting history overall.

What a great video. Bruce seems to have some special relation to Sweden...However, from the video I can't help feeling like Bruce is constantly short of breath or I don't know how to say it bebetter. Just that his voice is not what it used to be.
Well, I have never seen him live unfortunately (and I am so much looking forward to July, when I will finaly see him), so I can only compare what I know from recordings. Just the last week I was watching the 1993 show from Stockholm and it is relly one of the best things I have seen ever. It would be even better if he played with the E-Street band, but it is still gret. His voice is just perfect, very strong.
The perfect song to compare is a classic - Born to Run. All the versions after 2000 seem to me like he is more whispering than singing, the 1993 version is so much better.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to bash Bruce, I am happy as a little kid before Christmas that I will finally see him.
Anyway, now the question to the ones who have seen him during the years...is my impression correct, or am I wrong?

I respect the man. Not for his "availability" or his "staying with the people", 'cause I don't care one iota about that. I respect him for being a decent musician that's much better than many others out there. But come to think of it: How many more songs do I need of Bruce tryin' to "feel" the songs by singing through his teeth and a balcony jaw??? The answer is none (And the Springsteen cheerleading section will prolly ask me how many more songs I'd need of Jagger doing the usual howl. The answer is: THOUSANDS). I have the Best Of collection (Called "The Essential Bruce Springsteen") and it's more than enough. Too much actually. And I have a DVD of the concert in MSG 2001 (I think). Good one, but the trouble about it is the same as I stated in my above post. But I have respect for him, because he's a working musician. Just like Bryan Adams and many others, but Bruce does it better. Still he's not good enough in my mind. Mainly because his songs lack in quality and that his live stuff isn't good enough.

BTW: What's up with Clarence Clemmons? Don't know much about him, but is he sick or something. In the DVD I have (2001) he seems in great shape, but on the current tour he's like an old man. What's up with him???
