If you have been to more than a fistful of concerts it's getting more and more difficult to make a decision which the best concert was. For me, I'd say Rolling Stones Hamburg 2007 - other groups probably Joe Cocker Munich 2007 (or Alice Cooper Munich 2008).

That's right. I suppose it's a bit like trying to name the best football match you've ever attended. Also The Stones concert I cited was my favourite but certainly not the best in terms of musicianship/technical visuals,sound etc. If that makes sense.

Yes, there are still some great shows being played.

Seen every tour since 90, my fave so far Wembley Aug 1990, Bill's last show. Closely followed by Olympia Licks July 2003

Despite the fan turmoil while entering the facility, I would have to say that the Greensboro 1975 concert ranks as a favorite. Of course, when you're sitting on Keith's side of the stage it makes for a better show.

Stones: May 1976 Granby Halls Leicester 17 years old and right at the front - almost crushing my ribs against the stage (couldn't happen now of course but wow what a night). Many other stones memories but that was the 1st and best!

Others: Clash anywhere Jam anywhere Elvis anywhere Patti Smith at Rainbow 1978 and Patti again at Auditorium Rome 2004
Ryan Adams on a good night like Hammersmith 2007 or Brixton 2008

I think its more about the venue than anything and for that reason Nils Lofgren at Dingwalls I don't remember when maybe 2001? He said "this place gives a new meaning to the word intimate"

Do you remember the chaotic atmosphere of the Greensboro concert? As I remember, fans broke the glass out of the primary entrance doors of the lobby. It was everyone fend for them self. Also, I remember Keith not doing well. Not from a musician standpoint but from a health view. It was obvious. Despite a great concert, things were out of order. Yeah it was one of their greatest performances, however, it was sorta bittersweet.

i refuse to play this childish game and divulge my favorites. i'm taking the high road, the mature approach and holding my breath....

While I do not go way back with the Stones, my favorite show was probably on January 16, 2003 at MSG. Awesome setlist.

On a more personal level, the MTV 10 spot was something I will always remember. A short show, but to get that close is something that will always live with me(no pun intended on that one).
