On record and stage, '68-82 represents pretty much the definition of rock music. With the exception of Black and Blue, they didn't really misstep much during this time. And a long time it was, too. Following that, 94-99 was a pretty special time, Voodoo Lounge album and accompanying tour, Stripped and the club shows, B2B album and tour, and No Security. I really wouldn't hav

Stones, U2, REM, the Who, Crowded House, and Oasis are my personal favorite groups to collect shows from.

Ugh, Keith looks and sounds awful. On the upside, that was the best Start Me Up I've ever heard Ronnie do. Good stuff. T

Re: Mick coming out of the stage, they tried using the lift on NFA rather than Sympathy on the first few Voodoo Lounge shows and decided it worked better during Sympathy, and I agree. Seeing Mick just casually stroll on stage like he's anywhere in the world, and then THAT vocal line starts and suddenly it's a Stones gig. Classic. However, my favorite "modern times" open

I'm kinda in two minds about whether I want Saitama on there - on the one hand, it was an amazing performance, perhaps one of the top three or four of the tour that I've heard, but on the other hand, the setlist is almost exactly the same as Rio (Rio has YGMR, Get off of My Cloud, and Saitama has Sway and Paint it Black, but I think it's the same apart from those). Try and remember, before you go blasting any groups fans as compulsive saddos, that you are posting on an internet fan forum. We all give up rights to make fun of other uberfans the minute we hit "post message." That said, Queen made some excellent records, along with having the most consistently brilliant live show of the late 70s-mid 80s. From 79-86, they were unequalled on stage.

I was always surprised Let Me Down Slow and Look What the Cat Dragged in never made it in the live show... you know, it's a shame they don't give their newer stuff a little more credit... they could make a killer show out of post DW material... Just imagine, if they were to do a few clubs to give the recent songs a last work out before they disappear into oblivion... 1. Rough Just

>Maybe you should listen to them and figure out what they are instead of just >collecting them like widgits. *raises eyebrow* sorry, didn't mean to offend, I just couldn't remember the title of it, it's a great show though. Some googling has revealed it to be "Brussels Affair." T

I don't mean to hijack someone elses request, but if you felt like posting the Passaic show I would be forever grateful... I'm a new convert to the Rolling Stones, and the only live things I've heard are YaYas, Flashpoint, Live Licks, and some early 70s show.... Brussels something or other. Anyway... I'd love to hear something from the Some Girls tour, and that one seems to be
