Hi Captain: Do you get to work with original multi-track studio tapes or mixed/mastered use software to isolate instrument/voices on previously mixed/mastered/un-official released material? It sounds great and so clean. Total novice here.

Is 'krakenfiles' legit? Seems to be more interested in phishing than file transfer? Reminds me of how Mega could be.

Thrilled the band offers them. For me, it makes the expense of travel much easier to handle.

My Lucky Dips for Chicago 2 are $39 each, plus a pile of service charges. Still much cheaper than the cheapest nosebleed. If they turn out to be nosebleeds, as long as the sound is good, it will still be ok with me.

This is outstanding! Thank you! I have seen the Crowes 3 times over the years and the setlists and performance quality have been all over the map. Super tight band/obscure setlist. Popular songs and cool covers on the setlist/sloppy performance (or singer is too stoned and in his own world). But this boot is what I would have loved to see/hear the like they are on this recording, one of the

Whatever direct this site goes, or even if it shots down, I want to thank you for all your diligence and hard work in providing a fantastic forum to interact with other Stones fans. I've learned more about a band that means so much to me from you and many contributors, and feel like I have been able to time travel a bit in hearing bootlegs/outtakes that show the progression of the group, an

The cost to administer and protect the copyright under multiple country/regional laws may be more than the potential revenues to earn from some copyrights. On this site, and a few others, there are hardcore fans who will gladly collect any tidbit of recorded Stones material. But how much real income could be in it for the band? Record and CD sales, even when they put a decent amount of money in

I have had people freak out when I sent them an 320 kbs MP3 of bootleg, where the original was an audience recording to hissy tape in 1972. But I guessing the lack of dynamic range of the original meant that it would not matter if transferred via lossless FLAC or 320 MP3 or down to 192 MP3....none of the music on the original was anywhere nearly as high as 16,000 hz or remotely as low as 100 hz.

Does anyone know if there is a simple public transport (preferably train/subway) to/from Miracle Mile or other hotel-heavy areas of the city? I managed to get CDs for Chicago2, I used to travel to Chicago for trade shows and the like but someone else was always paying the tab, and we thought nothing of getting a cab or a car service to anywhere. As retirement is on the horizon, I would hugely a

Thanks for putting together and posting. I only saw Maya once, with Coco Montoya on guitar. Little-know kid at the time, he forged a solid blues career, like so many BB guitarists. Great guests on this! Can't wait to listen.

David is keeping the music alive. The 2nd half of his Broadway show is Talking Heads only - and the part of the show that got the audience alive. Though I would love to see them tour.

It's a basic song. Though many singles by many musicians are meant to appeal to the least common denominator. Made to dance to or be a stadium anthem vs generating anything deeper. I'm waiting to hear what else is on the album, especially lyrically. The range and speed of the fingers declines with age. Great melody, biting wit, surprise or add social commentary and the ability to pai

Sadly, but to be expected in any band's catalog, even the Stones have had some that were maybe best left undercover of the night, rather than released officially.

at 86, guesting on a song is about as much as any musician can do. If Charlie has some drumming on the album, maybe jazz/blues covers over the years during sessions - unused at the time, but Charlie, as usual, in the groove, whether first take or just a jam?

Quotesouldoggie QuoteMathijs I always wonder how people can say they were at a 'bad' 1975 or 1978 show, and then say the 1994 or 2002 or 2014 show was excellent. Any 1975 or 1978 show is about 100 times better than any show after 1990. There simply is no contest. Mathijs Totally agree. Cleveland '75 and Cleveland '78 were absolutely fantastic shows.
