Keith's SINGING in Pittsburgh is the best I've heard in at a show I've personally attended (1978-2021). I thought his guitar playing was much better in 2015 - tighter, more focused on rhythm that gave the songs real muscle. My one show in 2021 was still better than the mid-2000's version of himself, but lots of times he kind of lost/left and Ronnie jumped to fill-in. Back to

In Pittsburgh, we ended up on Ronnie's side 2 sections from the stage 12 rows up. Nice seats but certainly not pit. Before the Stones came on ad during their set, ushers in the upper deck started moving people to the lower bowl, clearing out people in partly obscured sections of the upper deck. The closest floor section to us has maybe 30 people in it, instead of the maybe 200 that it ha

Have Lucky Dips here, too. I booked a hotel when this date was still just a rumor, and could have cancelled if needed. But watch prices as things get closer, prices could come down. Use a site where you can set price alerts for when something comes into your range. Hotels asking $400 now may drop if bookings aren't flying in. It does not seem that many tix are selling the last 2 weeks.

I saw him many years ago, opening for Dave Mason..circa 1978/79. Great band with him. Rock n roll.

Seeing, hearing lots of good things from vibe to performance. Brown Sugar seems to have been retired, now if they'd only do the same with Miss You (and for me, Satisfaction, which for me, has never been stellar live). One week to Pittsburgh

Driving down from Buffalo that morning. Staying a 10 minute walk from the stadium. Getting more excited now that it seems the show really will happen.

I am so sick of the whining about Steve Jordan not being worthy. The guy filled in for Charlie in the studio with at least the Dirty Work album. Others filled in for Charlie in the studio on IORR, You Can't Always Get What You Want, Tumbling Dice, and several other songs - many they play regularly live - ever Charlie trying to emulate Kenny Jones or Jimmy Miller. Not sure about any of you,

Satisfaction has maybe always sucked live since maybe 1966. Works as the last song of the encore, as a cue to leave before it's over.

guessing because getting into Canada from the US via ground transport is difficult and who knows if the border could close again. I am also guessing the inability of the US to let Canadians in is what killed a Buffalo show. for most big events in Buffalo, from NFL football, NHL hockey to concerts, Canadians make up a significant portion of the crowd.

Still loads of floor seats for Pittsburgh. Though I remember a late 90s, Autumn show in Buffalo where sales were slow up till a day or 2 before the event. Sitting outside on a crisp Autumn evening in the north can either be wonderful under clear skies....or absolutely miserable if it's raining. Rain on an 80F night is refreshing. On a 50F night goes right thru you. Hoping its dry under a

Pittsburgh will be my 14th Stones show but first Lucky Dip, and given the sad loss of Charlie, Ronnie's battles with cancer and simply the challenges of the boys being close to 80, for the first time ever, I truly feel it may be my last show. Any strategy to get better seats when picking them up, or are seats just in random envelopes with your name on them, and what you receive is what yo

Maybe it's just been my luck, but I have seen them play Out Of Control so many times, it has joined Miss You as a beer/restroom break song LOL. I am seeing the band in Pittsburgh on this tour, 3rd show. Maybe they'll still be experimenting with the setlist.

I would love to see The Nude Party as the opener for the tour. Younger Stone-ish vibe. If they need to sell more tickets, Cage The Elephant as an opener could do that....but can't get a bump in ticket sales if no one knows who's opening.

No Charlie = No Stones makes NO sense. That would mean Happy, Shine A Light, It's Only Rock-n-Roll, You Can't Always Get What You Want and perhaps other songs aren't actually The Rolling Stones as someone other than Charlie played the drums?

When you get to the edge of average life expectancy, I am guessing putting off anything is something you'd want to avoid. It's hard to book stadiums in the US for a year away (and even some arenas) as most long term leases with sports teams give one or more teams priority on claiming dates they want. The NFL doesn't do schedules more than a few months ahead of the season starti

1. Exile - soulful, wide-ranging, love every track on a double album, never tire of it. Greatest album of all time by any band 2. Sticky Fingers - Brown Sugar, Bitch and Angie are fine, but what I love most are the rest of the tracks. Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Sister Morphine, Moonlight Mile, Sway are pure masterpieces 3. Beggars - their first great album start to finish for me. As

6 weeks from the show and it seems like there are a LOT of tix still for sale in all but the cheapest seats? On Ticketmaster they seem like they are original tix, not ones offered for resale. Stones fans in Pittsburgh known for waiting before buying tix?

The tour will happen unless it is looking like they will be playing to lots of empty seats at too many venues. Many seem to have plenty of tix left. All the NFL stadiums they are playing in will be hosting much bigger crowds before and after the Stones appear at the venues. I feel bad for my neighbors to the north that may not be able to enter the US by land, if the closure gets extend

I got a pair of Pitt Lucky Dips the morning tix went on sale. Also had tix for Buffalo, but now using that refund from Ticketmaster to finance going to Pittsburgh. Hotel walking distance to the stadium. 4 hour ride there. Looking very forward to it

I don't get the whole 'betrayal' thing. Charlie's recuperating and will rejoin the tour when well. The band forged ahead after kicking out Brian, Bill quitting, Stu's sad passing. Was it a betrayal when they had Jimmy Miller play drums on You Can't Always Get What You Want, IORR, Shine a Light, and Happy, and likely others? Or Bill Plummer playing bass on Rip

I have LDs for Pittsburgh. I had regular seats for Buffalo. Driving 4 hours to Pittsburgh then picking up my tickets, I could not imagine scalping them. If they're at the top of the stadium, I'll be watching the show on big screens, along with 75% of the crowd. I am hoping to draw great seats. I am sure it will be my last Stones show.
