Good to see a fair few Tom Waits fans here at this site. This is a soundboard recording of Mr Waits in fine form with a cracking band. 1 - Romeo Is Bleeding 2 - Annie's Back In Town 3 - Medley intro 4 - Jitterbug Boy/Better Off Without A Wife 5 - Wish I Was In New Orleans/When The Saints 6 - Since I Fell For You 7 - Red Shoes By The Drugstore

A 1-hour documentary on the Rio gig was on National Geographic a couple of weeks ago - is this the one you mean? I have it on dvd, if you want to trade. I wasn't aware of the BBC broadcasting anything on the Rio gig...

Many thanks for these Erik - are there any more? I'd be grateful if you could post them, as even as mp3s they are still better quality than on the CD I've got.

Someone mentioned this one in a thread about Undercover outtakes - here it is. Variable sound quality, bit of a mixed bag, some outtakes from 1979 and 1982, most of which have probably been posted here many times before, though maybe the odd one has slipped through the net. 1 Tie You Up (The Pain Of Love) 2 It Won't Be Long 3 Slave 4 She Was Hot 5 Break Away

No, I tried the link - all you get is the "web page cannot be displayed" message. I have recorded the show direct onto CDR, at the moment I'm editing out all the announcements etc and listening back to check all ok. I can post it later this evening in MP3 format if you want?

There is a link on the BBC website where you can "e-mail the show to a friend". I take it that the "friend" does not have to be in the UK? Anyway, I've just sent it to you Vox, hopefully it works...

Sorry vancouver, don't understand your question. This was an acetate of I WANNA BE YOUR MAN, described by the seller as being completely different from the released version - slower with "fuzztone" guitar and Ian Stewart on boogie-woogie piano. Hardly surprisingly, with a reserve price of 1999 USD it failed to attract any bids at all.

I keep trying to repost 7, yousendit is useless - they should rename it noyoudontsendit. I'll try again tomorrow... There's always been some doubt as to the source of this stuff, but we are talking bootlegs here, so nothing is 100% legit is it? Here's what Martin Elliott says in his book on the Stones recording sessions: "A series of remixes appeared on two bootlegged a

According to Martin Elliot's book, the Stones recorded Key To The Highway in November 64 at the Chess Studios (same sessions as Goodbye Girl, What A Shame, Time Is On My Side...etc). He also mentions the rumour about Howlin' Wolf playing along. Apparently they also recorded a version of Mercy, Mercy at the same session and both these songs are supposedly available on bootleg - anyone ha
