Been listening to this album nonstop since Saturday. Learned that Maria McKee’s half-brother was Bryan MacLean - songwriter and member of Love- who co-wrote Don’t Toss Us Away with her from the same album.

Killer version. Would love to hear more live versions stripped down like this. And they could do a lot worse than releasing that MSG3 show someday. (Though I still prefer the performance of MSG2 on a whole)

Curious if anyone else is wondering if the alternate mixes of Silver Train, 100 Years Ago and Hide Your Love are simply going to be the versions that ended up on the Acetates CD?

So the album is re-MIXED for this release, not just a remaster. No one else finds that interesting?? Also, if any of those outtakes/alternates are from the Village Recorders session I’ll be quite happy.

If you are looking into the 78 tour I strongly suggest the more dynamic sounding Welcome To The Balckout over the flat, stilted sound on any version of Stage.

Sounds great. Unfortunately, I need to point out that Mr. D forgot to include Trevor Lawrence on the artwork inside. Mick clearly introduces him between Steve Madaio and Bobby Keys. J

Always wanted them to do a Bootleg Series-type release of The Paris Sessions 1977-80. Could have covered the trove of outtakes that covered the three albums Some Girls, Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You. (Could cheat and throw anything earth-shaking in from Barbados) As for a Deluxe Tattoo You, there's plenty of material - remember, we have no idea what alternate versions of these songs exi

Wow. I remember starting this thread. The same footage is contained at the beginning of this, which was linked in the original post, but still reversed: I shared this with VideoJames back in 2011. I just checked my email folders and his reply was "looks like Manchester or Leeds 1971." J

“All available DIGITALLY for the first time.” Read the words. They choose them specifically for a reason. Does t mean they have t her released some other way before. Just not officially on this medium.

One song? Mick rehearsing with a guitar? A Worldwide audience? If you don’t think/assume it’s going to be Miss You you’re crazy.

Quotewiredallnight Quotej.b.goode rs: totp 1971 This link does not offer more than already written above... It does offer more photos showing Keith with a 12-string acoustic for the miming of Wild Horses, which also has an alternate slide guitar track. But none with Mick wearing the hat, which must have been for Bitch?? And Keith at the mic for Bitch? Confusing. Nice catch on the phot

It may or may not have been located/offered for the Sticky Fingers anniversary edition, and it may or may not have been rejected for use by those putting the project together. I may also just be remembering this about another audio source. This is possibly one of the 'lost/destroyed' tapes. Other contributors to this board that know video have a more concrete answer, and I'll le

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteTornAndFried I always wondered why they didn't play this song live until I heard it on the Licks Tour. Like other classics like 'Rocks Off', 'Sway', 'Torn And Frayed' and 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking' these songs just sound much better on their original album versions. I wish Ronnie was a much better lead guitarist. He is

I went through this too about a year or two ago. Kept playing it in my car over and over. It will last a few days, then the album will go dormant in your interest for another 10-15 years. Enjoy it. Ride it out.

CA - noticed a rough edit between Track 07 and 08 on disc two. Dylan's intro of T-Bone Burnett/Silver Mantis appears at the beginning of both track 07 AND track 08 (before a tape splice and then Going, Going, Gone) Also, are there different audience sources used? J

Thanks C.A. The 76 leg is overlooked. Hoping it gets an official box treatment someday. Curious about this 1st pressing of Hard Rain - if it's just clean or there is something unique about it. Have never heard anything about it being rare etc. J

Whichever Paradiso show did not get released in the Stripped deluxe. And though there’s no accounting for taste, I have to warn you that the New Orleans 1994 radio show was resoundingly panned when it happened at the time. It’s a truly terribly mixed/sounding recording.

QuoteHis Majesty Quotedcba QuoteHis Majesty 1969 is the starting point. No one has yet proven it isn't from 1969. ABKCO have tried to sell us a 1969 "shelter" that was recorded 9 years later... It took the most perspicacious IORR members (not me btw...) about 10 minutes to find the correct attribution for this track. Yes, but I am talking about this new Ruby Tuesday. It
