QuoteHis Majesty Quotedcba QuoteHis Majesty 1969 is the starting point. No one has yet proven it isn't from 1969. ABKCO have tried to sell us a 1969 "shelter" that was recorded 9 years later... It took the most perspicacious IORR members (not me btw...) about 10 minutes to find the correct attribution for this track. Yes, but I am talking about this new Ruby Tuesday. It

Quotethkbeercan 1968: SFTD-from the Rock and Roll Circus, one of the early takes, not used in the video. Instrumentally it always sounded this way to my ears from first listen. The intercom talk back at the end makes me curious though. Not so much Jagger's comment, but the brief response that can be heard. J

AXL79 has posted links to a few of the studio tracks over on the Tell Me side. Complete removal of the tone. WAV files via Mega. Superior to the ones on this side, but, alas, only 4 tracks currently. J

QuoteTurningToGold2 I have to wonder if the actual tape boxes literally got mixed up and jumbled together, as the band worked on things, and moved from place to place, over the many many years. It's so baffling. Back on the Exile deluxe set, "Title 9" was clearly not Exile-related, it was much earlier track, and now "Gimme Shelter" with what's pretty clearly Ron Wood

Quotedcba This is the raw version. The almighty Waz is working on a speed-corrected upgrade as this one runs much too fast. Agree. The vocals sound fast. Especially early. I tried to speed correct this tape years ago. My ‘upgrade’ was posted here. I was also the one who identified “My Home Is A Prison” for the first time. J

Quotedcba QuoteSirMuddy I also think that Sympathy For The Devil, Stray Cat Blues, Ruby Tuesday, & Midnight Rambler are also from the Warner Bros Tour Rehearsals Sessions. Huh... then why did they rehearse it under its fast/BB arrangement while they were going to play it in a slow new arrangement? Most of these tracks have audible talk back from the studio engineer you can hear at the beg

Quotesyrel Quotedcba If you've gotten the huge upgrade of the "surrey Rehearsals" material posted this year you'llknow what I mean Does anyone have a link to this? I must have missed it... thanks syrel Ditto. Figured that new boot was just a speed corrected version of the common circulating tape. J

Quoteblakeeik and, another link wetransfer... The method I used to remove the tone did not work as well on YCAGWYW but it worked fine on the others. Still a hum, but a great improvement

Quotegimme_shelter The Gimme Shelter in these files: to me it sounds like they are from another period, maybe like a tour rehearsal 75/78 or something? The keyboards are a dead give away - 1978 Woodstock rehearsals. There are two other versions in this batch - the Keith vocal version and the version with Jagger's vocal phased/swirled.

Quoteblakeeik Here's all 16 studio tracks without the tone in flac. I used a different method to remove the tone. I did not compare the two. Thanks to Honestman and Blueranger! A great find OK,now I'm going to get picky: can someone with another method put these on WeTransfer or similar? My FileFactory is taking 2 hours, and that usually means a faulty download. Any help

Quotebarbabang SFTD is that something like a R&R Circus rehearsel take? I agree. That, Stray Cat, Rambler sound similar, as far as guitars etc., to RnRC audio.

Quotebarbabang The Gimme Shelter early version is a live rehearsel version with ronnie wood. Sounds very recent to my ears too. Nineties? Strange choice for ABCKO is't it? Sounds like the 78 tour rehearsals version from Woodstock 78 to me.

Quoteslewan QuoteRik Well, this is a roadversion. Mick holds his ears and thanks Ronnie when it’s over: thank goodness does Mick really say 'forgive me'?? He says “thank goodness” I was at that show and remember hearing that solo - and hearing him say that. I thought it was fantastic, and Ronnie has really taken it to different levels since that tour. I think Mick was most

QuoteHairball A friend of mine who was there (and had been to two previous this tour) told me Ronnie had a bad night without mentioning any specifics... Other than the sometimes spastic and discombobulated solo's of his at every show, anyone notice anything peculiar with Ronnie last night? No. I thought Ronnie carried most of the night while Keith, as some others have said, walked through

QuoteMaindefender There were no opening acts in 2013 when Gary Clark Jr. guested. Or do you have another show in mind?... Nah. I defer to your memory. I wonder if they made him split a room with Mick Taylor on the road? I remember little about that Boston show other than it was near the bottom of my list next to one of the Fleet shows in 99. Suppose it’s nice that the guy gets an op

Ok, this may be a useless question, but figure I’ll try anyway. I think the last time I saw a show at Gillette was when the Stones last played there. So it’s been a while. I’m considering going tomorrow night, and I will be driving and parking. I expect and don’t really mind the traffic or the price for parking. I just would like to know from those more recently experienced what you wo
