QuoteDoxa QuoteHairball I was able to find it - nice review/'interview', and a shame it wasn't posted here on IORR in the original B&L thread - it's not too late to do so! One paragraph in particular speaks volumes though (for me), and I'm sure many here can relate to and appreciate this: Haha... I need to say that when I was writing that piece in December I h

Quote35love On the little 'ask a RS a ?' tidbits (not official title, loved them for real time right now seeing the band) Mick was talking about the stage at Conchella and said it was the longest he's done! It was too long/ of course he's the best used it all. Said it was taxing. Hey, I'm available to help train Mick for the next ;-) It was conceived by Roger Waters

Kick ass Stones song - lots of memories listening to it when I was young. Raggedy chaos yet everything is in perfect synch Stones style c.1974. Wailing guitars, thumping drums and bass, screaming vocals, and raunchy lyrics...gotta love it.

Veering a bit off topic, but.... QuoteDoxa But as far as Blue & Lonesome vs. their early R&B records go, I wrote a long piece about Blue & Lonesome, including briefly that theme as well, here...googling "EOMS On Blue & Lonesome: Doxa interviewing Doxa" might get one there... I was able to find it - nice review/'interview', and a shame it wasn't poste

QuoteToxic34 I hope that there is a DVD/Blu-ray release of these shows. Odds are that this might indeed just be the two shows and that's it for the Eagles. I wanted them to go out on a higher note than the Grammys tribute, and I got my wish. If Glenn's son is indeed in his father's place, I wish him all the best. I hope that Jackson Browne is involved, and will do not just "Ta

QuoteKRiffhard “Being prolific dont mean shit. I‘ve got three songs and they‘re dynamite. I don‘t want to make any decisions about this until this record (B&L) comes out, because I think it might radically change Mick‘s attitude; it might change mine. I want to see the fallout from this record before I decide wheteher I want to record 40 of Mick‘s songs or whether he wants to sit down with

I'll happily and patiently wait for as long as it takes if the results are a decent (great?) album with the band all on the same page, rather than having them rush out something inferior and disjointed. "You can't rush perfection..." In the meantime, maybe we'll see more solo projects/collaborations outside the band.

Could be that Mick's illness was actually caused by his private air-conditioned running track area. None of the other bands/artists became sick in the open air desert environment over the two weekends! Sometimes those AC systems can carry viruses...

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteThe Worst. Bill Wyman writes in one of his books that "Miss You" and "Angie" are the band's two best selling singles ever. This claim is backed up by stats from the RIAA (US) and the Official Charts (UK). According to the RIAA, "Satisfaction", "Angie" and "Miss You" are the only Stones singles that sold more th

Hmmm...could be similar setlists to Desert Trip and Vegas which each had only ONE song from B&L! Would have been nice if they had played more of it in the US while it was still fresh, but alas they didn't. For some mysterious reason they dredged up Mixed Emotions and a Beatles cover at Desert Trip I when they could have/should have played more from B&L. With all the warhorses an

They could tour with just Mick Fleetwood and John McVie (along with some side musicians) - their namesake - and do it justice. Might not sell out arenas, but they could go back to their blues roots and scrap the entire Buckingham/Nicks era (and the other shortlived Bob Welch era) to the delight of many. Throw in some ripping blues guitarist ala Peter Green, and it would be great!

Not sure why you would post a secondary market/resale/scalper site when you can still get official face value tickets via ticketmaster - including front sections.
