I have the 4Reel edition.Overall, very boring film. The hotel scene with Bianca listening to a musical box with Jagger ignoring her is interesting. Jagger and Taylor smoking a joint making fun of the Texas countryside is funny.

Yeah, the stones ran out of gas later on in the tour. Midnight Rambler is great too from the second boston show. June 27th from MSG is a good listen also.

Bad Company Providence Civic Center 1979. Crowd kept lighting off fireworks. The band threatened to leave if it didn't stop. It didn't. So the band left after about 45 minutes. Got into a brawl in the parking lot afterwards for a nice cap to the evening.

QuoteDEmerson I saw Iggy at the Orpheum in Boston last night. Great show. LOUD (and actually the sound mix wasn't great - kind of bass heavy). But 'the last man standing' of the Bowie/Iggy/Lou trio (who'd have thunk, right?) can still bring the goods. Playing almost all of his quite good new Post Pop Depression and most of both The Idiot and Lust For Life - plus Repo Man - i

QuoteOlly QuoteRollin92 It would be a bitter pill to swallow if the next shows aren't in the UK The Stones have certainly played very few shows outside of London in the UK in recent decades. If you look at the statistics regarding shows in England specifically, outside of London, the figures are remarkable. In the last quarter century, the Stones have played more than twice the numbe

a lot of it was boring. Some scenes were interesting. Biannca listening to a music box in a hotel while Jagger is ignoring her. Jagger and Taylor smoking a joint whiling making fun of the Texas country side. The groupies miss-behaving. What I got of it was Taylor like his weed. Wyman was non-existent. Watts mining his business watching TV. Richards was Mr. Cool playing cards and almost normal. Ja

My first stones album. I still like coming down again, silver train, winter, star star. Just last winter I played that song while it was snowing in the car on my way to work.

Quotescottkeef QuoteLieB scottkeef, which Leeds Lungs release do you consider the best? They're all mono, aren't they? I have three cds ( Pig's "Leeds Revisited". Turd's "Leed Guitars-Movie Stars" and SM's release) and for me the Pig's version is hands down the best. I have Turd's version. I thought it was the same as the Pig's thou

QuoteBeforeTheyMakeMeRun I have a copy of 'Emotional Rescue' from that series, came in a plastic 'slip-case shell', but the actual case for the CD was a mock-vinyl record cover/sleeve. It came with a mini-poster replica that came with the original vinyl. Glad I picked it up for $10. Here's a picture of it from an eBay posting... I have goat's head soup and bla
