Hmmm ...I think Ronnie has a talent. I have his book and enjoy it. He has easy access to The Stones and other celebs for his subject matter but when he tries other things they also are usually good and likeable images (and sculpture) This though, maybe he wasn't thinking all the way through, should be withdrawn if he has any sense.

QuoteTurner68 Quotedrewmaster Sorry, but to me this is a clunker... one of the weakest tracks on a spotty album. I wouldn't let my dog listen to this one. Drew Well said. Come to think of it, I wouldn't let my dog's fleas listen to it either. Very divisive ...it's the Stones Marmite song. Me I like it very much

Quotemickschix Aquamarine, just calling it like I see it regarding Anita. I believe the Stones would have been much better off without her interference....she caused a lot of problems between Keith & Brian, played one off the other, played the victim card...I don't know what her objective was really but she was not a positive influence in any regard...in my honest opinion. That period wa

So the promotor in Rome made 100% out of which to pay all other expenses and in Hamburg made 200% Edit - should just say my 4.000.000 figure for the band is just speculation but I do remember it was a million to get them onstage in the late 90's so lord only knows what it is now Recent exceptions were Havana (obviously) and I remember Glastonbury was a much lower figure as they really

I love these wishlists! I wish they played Barnet playing fields so I could walk there. It's down to the promoters anyway - the band don't choose. They accept or decline. The fee for the Circo Massimo gig in Rome was apparently just €8,000 that's maybe £10,000 and maybe $12,000 The promoter must have fallen off his chair when that price came through. He can pay the band their €

Quoteretired_dog Quotejlowe Quotegeorgie48 QuoteBig Al Quotevertigojoe I agree. I like this track. And for sure, England is lost. After this morning’s result, I would say we’re a nation singing from hymn sheet, actually! Really? I think Mick's frustration is realistic. First the voters give the Tori's a blow in the face (May's downfall) and now they put Boris on a platform so h

First time I've ever heard it. Quite good and nice harmonica part. Is it really meant as an anti Brexit song? Mick is usually non-committal politically

QuoteBliss They both look very good in that photo. James had a part in the series Vinyl about the music industry. Well worth a watch. He was great in that. Why no 2nd season? Surely not ratings?

Quotemicawber This album should've been called "Bad Bad". Chuck Berry and his songs don't deserve such a 'treatment'. This album is Ronnie's worst attempt and can be compared to the 'quality' of 'She's the Boss' and 'Dogshit in the Doorway'. I fear, the next forthcoming tribute albums by Ronnie won't be better. Scro

QuoteJordyLicks96 QuotePalace Revolution 2000 QuoteJordyLicks96 These are Mick Jagger's handwritten liner notes for LET IT BLEED. I know they aren't studio pics but I thought it was a cool find to post here. This is interesting. First off he has Bill Wyman on autoharp on "Let it Bleed" too. On "Live with Me" I thought it had been Leon Russell on pia

I can remember a great deal of "tut-tut"ing from both Mum and Dad when Tumbling Dice was on Top Of The Pops so that puts it 1972 when I was 13/14. Anything my parents disapproved of must be alright! Fortunately next year they agreed to get me GHS for my birthday. And so it begins...

Quotetatters Come to think of it, a reviewer who attended the show here in Detroit last April wrote that the sound was "far too loud, far too hot, lacking any definition in favor of pure, punishing volume. A distracting hum burdened a fair chunk of the show, while everything from the stage was pushed to such extremes that vocals and particularly solos by Bender and Fisher were brittle and di

Quoteivanova_08 Hi, I first bought a standing while worrying there would be not Level 1 (I need to seat). I then managed to have a seat so I technically have a spare standing one. except I haven't received the tickets yet. But if I do quite soon, the standing one is yours, face value of course. I'll email you a copy of my reply. Is this still available? My email address is not hid

Quotedrewmaster QuoteStoneage Haven't seen this one. I guess it hasn't premiered yet. But I wish Sir Michael were more lucky with his films. They often tend to be quite mediocre and forgettable over time. Why doesn't he star in those mega block buster super hero movies. Like Batman or Spider Man. He can't go wrong there. He could play Batmans grandpa or something... I pers
