QuoteEddieByword Anybody heard anything about getting an infection twice? A friend of mine was ill about a month ago. She recovered and went back to work. Then last week her husband got it and she also got sick again............. The Health Secretary for the UK, Matt Hancock said on the BBC, last night, that the science on whether people were immune after recovering was "unclear".

So weird how symptoms vary. In the UK today we had a report of someone who only had the loss of taste symptom - nothing else. Must say those of you still talking about a couple of weeks and all will be well are going to be sadly disappointed. We have just heard Edinburgh Festival cancelled today (Aug/Sept)

Lots of hysteria here in the UK and also especially Italy (my better half is Italian) But a lot of these patients would have been susceptible to plain old everyday flu anyway. They are elderly or immune compromised. Even without Covid 19 they would be at risk. And to put it in perspective 2 people in the UK die everyday from falling down the stairs. Wash your hands people. Properly and o

Ya Ya's Brussels LYL El Mocambo side are recorded testiment to their live greatness. I have seen them 19 times and am hoping for at least 1 more time. Never disappointed and that amazing first gig at Leicester England in May 1976 will stay with me forever. My mate and I came out and walked in a daze to the station, not believing how great they had been. Knebworth in Aug was my 2nd time an

"ET phone home, ET phone home." If ET can make it home, then maybe the Stones can hear our message? I can imagine them hearing us, but then they'll have a 'discussion' Exactly, a m

I tend to lean towards the cynic's view. That is if Charlie hadn't come good and gone out again for ABB (when massive world tour and album were being lined up) the business side of the Stones would have replaced him. If however he pulled out in 2008 then that would have been THE END. Fortunately for us he still wants to keep busy hence the jazz band tour when all was quiet with the Ston

In his book "Ronnie" he talks quite candidly about what he and Jo got up to. Drugs and booze, "Woodys" nightclub in Miami and other bad business decisions etc. And I think Mick lent 1 million prior to the Licks tour just to see him through. His son Jamie seems to have helped to set him straight a lot.

Quote24FPS There has to be something novel. A brand new setlist. Your choice of nights, rarities, or worn out warhorses. They've wrung the last grapes from the vineyard. If this was true I think they'd call time on it! As it is with 15 or 16 gigs a year they still sell out or nearly sell out. And with a gross they're happy with - or the promoters I should say...
