I snuck into a party by climbing tall fences and crawling underneath trailers to meet the Stones after a show in San Francisco in 2002 at Pac Bell Park. The stones were throwing a party for the crew as it was the last open arena show of the tour and they were downsizing and in an effort to say thank you they had to get together. I have been told they never did it before and never did it after but Forum: Tell Me

If I can get a ticket I like I am in for Oakland. Listen to his Back In The USSR story one more time.
Surprised he is playing Oakland, vs the fancy new arena in San Francisco Forum: Tell Me
Not a Kinks fan per se, never listened to rhis album before. Just tested each track, oh yea, it's a solid kissin cousin to BB.
Will listen in its entirety soon. Forum: Tell Me
I've always felt Heartbroker falls flat in modern day live shows..the keyboard tone doesn't replicate the original and the rest of the arrangement just sounds synthetic and falls short of the original vibe. Forum: Tell Me
Yes, opening night of the tour had 12 or more pages?
Each show loses commentary as many comments / concerns are no longer new concerns, they are now a staple of the tour. Forum: Tell Me
Near the end of Satisfaction, Mick said softly into the mic, "thank you for everything", or something like that...never heard him say that. The band played 8 more bars of Satisfaction and the show ended with all the usual hoopla. Forum: Tell Me
Sitting here in a bar near the arena, talking to one of the Stone's truck drivers who said talks are on going about the tour going onto next year. Forum: Tell Me
