Yes they do indeed! They are an amazing band live. Have you seen the plumbing fixture commercial with drummer playing faucets, etc. Glenn Kotche for Wilco. He's an awesome drummer. Every player in that band is world class.

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 Quotecrholmstrom Ahhhh, Zaireeka. Seeing Flaming Lips on Sunday. Always a good concert. The new light/stage show looks pretty cool. They put a lot of $, time & energy into their live presentation. With the exception of the Stones, they are my favorite band. What have the Lips put together for their new show? I saw them so many times in last years with the big bal

They should've called "Nights in White Satin" "Musicians on Downers". Not a big fan. To each his own.

I'd love to here Soul Survivor live with Keith singing it but I'd take Mick singing it to. Been one of my favorite Stones songs for a long time. An underrated gem.

I really like this one. Time Waits For No One is a favorite. Lot of good songs with the exception of Short & Curlies! Probably would've been a classic if Keith had been more involved. Don't think he was too well at that point.

I saw the "Smile" show & it was quite good. Excellent musicians & setlist. He is playing the Greek in LA soon with Jeff Beck opening. Beck is also going to perform with Brian. That could be something!

QuoteWroclaw Quotecrholmstrom Bill's a great bass player. Supposedly he was given the opportunity to come back more than once but declined because of travel. Daryl does a good job. It all comes down to who Charlie wants to play with, as it should. As saying "Bill" is much easier and shorter than saying "Daryl" I suspect Charlie REALLY prefers DJ over BW... had they been

QuoteWorriedAboutYou For me, Cave has never released a definitive studio album, either with the Birthday Party or the Bad Seeds. I know that comes across as being a bit music snobby, but they've never managed to capture the raw, exfoliating intensity of the live shows in the studio. Of course almost all of Cave's albums are brilliant, but the live shows are on a different level entirely

QuoteDeathgod Being a You Am I fan, you may dig this. Tim Rogers with one of my fave Oz rockers Nick Barker. Nick is a fellow Stones fan, and is hooking up with a few Melbourne musos to play the Goats Head Soup album in a few weeks. Very cool! Thanks! Its tough keeping up with them in the states. Another band I really like that can't get arrested here is Primal Scream. Thank God for th

I was fortunate enough to visit your country 12 years ago. You have a lot of good music down there. I think Melbourne is my favorite city I've ever been to. One of my favorite bands is You Am I. Saw them on my 40th birthday at Big Day Out in Melbourne. Have been lucky enough to see them here (Seattle) several times. Last time they played here, I had a cig with Tim Rogers & he actually pl

Quoterunaway Nick Cave is a great performer, have seen a lot of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds shows over the years and the Grinderman concert reminded me somehow of The Birthday-Party! My next Cave concert will be in november Amsterdam. Nick Cave in Amsterdam. Wow. Could be volatile.

Would've been cool to have Ivan ply. As far as Gary Clark Jr goes, I think he's the real deal. His cd is pretty good, not trapped in the straight blues thing. He did well on the Obama blues show. Not everyone can play with Jeff Beck & come off well. I know I would be intimidated! Side note: interested to see what comes of the Jeff Beck/Brian Wilson project. Beck's version of Su
