Got Playing for Change #3 CD which features Keith's song Words of Wonder, which is a reggie tune. He is also featured singing on the Bob Marley song Get Up and Stand Up. There is a DVD that is included showing Keith playing on the beach. Every song is a keeper, highly recommended. Playing for a Change is charity that establishes music education for young people around the world. Taj Maha

I don't know why the thread was closed but I did want to say a few things. The Rolling Stones were and still are a blues band. The Blues is a musical art form that came out of the black slave experience and segregation in America. True blues is beautiful, it can be funny, sad, it can tell a story and it has a unique musical form. The Stones when they play real blues are some of the best arti

I am leaning in the same direction. Saw something on Reddit this morning, HBO let out a plot synompsis, in Episode 7 & 8 they get back together to solve it. I sort of believe that they may be working under cover or made up a long time ago in order to solve this case. McConaughey was interviewed on Actors Studio and he praises Woody Harrelson, they both should get awards for this show. I re

To my friends in Europe. The Carolina Chocolate Drops are coming across the pond to visit, you should go see them. I saw them last night and they are wonderful. I would put them in the same league as the Stones and there are few musicans or groups that are in that league. Trust me, if you like tradional blues, country and just some fun music you'll like them. They will be at: Aug 21, &

Mick has written that Sympathy was inspired by the Russian classic novel The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. Mick couldn't say that when the song came out, who would have believed that Mick Jagger read classic Russian novels. If you read the book and listen to the song you can understand the connection.

Enjoy the show tonite, I just saw them in Washington the other nite and they blew the roof of the Verizon Center. As I commented before there is something rather special about seeing them do JJF Live. I would be curious to know if they do Gimmie Shelter again, it was awesome in DC and Lisa was a joy as usual. ENJOY, wish I was there.

I think Mick's a genius. They are getting written up all the time and its always about who sang at the concert with them. Huffington Post had a piece about Taylor and the Stones as well as Katy Perry. An observation only Taj Mahal sang something other than a Stones war horse which says a lot about what they think of him. I saw him on the Blues Cruise a couple years ago and he's absolu

The Republicans and Romney lost the election because they are becoming the political party of old white guys. Rommney made a big mistake by not conteming the comments made about rape and abortion that were made by some of the more radical tea party candidates. He lost the female vote by a wide margin by not throwing those couple of radicals under the bus. The Republicans need to a lot of soul se
