Thank you for sharing this! I am sure Charlie Watts was very proud of this achievement, perhaps it is no exaggeration to say that this was a landmark moment in his musical adventures. It must had been a labor of love and hard work to put this project together.

This is a long shot, but hopefully someone has this in their vaults: THE GOLDEN AGE OF ROCK'N'ROLL is a 10-part series Hosted by John Sebastian, this classic series explores the music of and the stories behind the Golden Age of Rock & Roll. This acclaimed series, focuses more on the music than similar 'rockumentaries' of it's type. No series about rock & pop mu

QuoteBashlets the studio version was magical. I was 19 and I remember reading about a song called Waiting on a Friend and Neighbors in A Rolling Stone magazine article. people magazine had a photo of Jagger and Hall going to Mr Chows in NYC after Waiting on a Friend video shoot. Several weeks later my local rock station said new Stones single arrives tomorrow so I called out of work and had my

Quotemidimannz Hi Friends, Can someone help me locate the 2016 Highway Companions live Mudcrutch Album for a friend please? I've tried the Tom Petty store and it's no longer there .............. I think you are looking for The Very Best Performances From The 2016 Mudcrutch Tour, which is an official release but ONLY as FLAC files, no physical release. Actually, I'd love to

QuoteBig Al QuoteNilsHolgersson 25x5 is still the best docu on the Stones imho, Crossfire Hurricane and My Life as a Rolling Stone don't really go further than the 1981/82 tour, at least 25x5 also covers the 80s with the solo efforts and the Steel Wheels 'comeback'. I really agree with you. As a young, teenage Stones novice, I learnt so much from 25x5. The documentary had a real

QuoteCristiano Radtke "Dave Davies of The Kinks with the film crew after his interview this morning for the Nicky Hopkins documentary, 'The Session Man'." Dave is looking great! Liking the hat. I wonder what happened to those songs he'd been working on with his bro. I'd love to hear the Kinks do something new just one more time.

QuoteCristiano Radtke A friend of mine who's friends with Professor Longhair's daughter was at her house some years ago for dinner. While he was in the kitchen trying to learn how to cook a real gumbo, the door bell rang and she told my friend to see who it was. He opened the door and was amazed to see that Dr. John stopped by to have dinner with them. Wow! I would have been happy jus

Quotesonyzzz Steel Wheels produced not 1 but 2 incredible classics. Slipping away, and one of my all time favorites Almost hear you sigh. Pounding beat from Charlie, and the classical Guitar. Absolutely beautiful, it sounds better in 2022... I agree. And I believe Mixed Emotions was the last clean, flowing, non-stop riff Keef came up with. I never liked the lyrics, though. It was a huge deal

In a clip on YouTube, I cannot recall if it was Midnight or Can't You, Keef started circling Taylor like a lion would circle its pray. It was a wild moment as Taylor started his solo. It must had been from the beginning of the tour when Taylor had joined them for a tune or two. I wonder if anyone remembers which clip that is. Probably it was Midnight Rambler.

Watched the YouTube clip. I have to say this is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. Before watching the Behind The Scenes news footage on YouTube, I was not sure how this worked. So it turns out it is playback with some backing singers and musicians. I would be curious to see the show in person but would not pay a dime for a ticket. This pure nostalgia, not there is anything wrong with th
