QuoteFour Stone Walls I think that they will have 'moved on' by then. But it would of course be great to see Bill - and Mick T - at a 60th show. I got the impression Bill was quite hacked off at only playing one number last time round and inferred he wouldn't be doing it again. I don't know how forgiving Mick Taylor is. I was pretty shocked to read amidst the Charlie tr

Quoteyeababyyea Keith's playing is pretty similar to 2019. Mick's voice is also the same. Best since 1999? Nah... I agree. I don't get all the talk about the rejuvenation in so far as I can judge from the footage. They sound (except for the obvious effect of Charlie missing) pretty much like they did live in 2018 in UK venues. Which is great in itself, of course.

The hand holding at St Louis was touching. I don't hold out much hope for a renewal of joint song-writing productivity as I think those days are gone and they lead far too separate lives on different continents. But for their own sakes, it is nice to see some thawing of frost. Any day could be the last time they perform together and this might be the last big tour. It would be some consola

Frankly, he is like a living, breathing wonder of the world; that stamina, energy and flexibility at his age is unbelievable. More to the point his drive has kept this show on the road for years, especially, it seems to me, this last 15 years or so. Of course, the other principals, especially Keith, are important to the legend, but these latter years, the music is increasingly churned out by a

Great interview. As Doxa mentions, very clear signs of distress and sadness in his visual expressive movements and voice when he talks about Charlie and about the decision to do the tour. I was also struck by how much, if his account is right, all this work on their output falls on his shoulders - he is combing the archives, he is writing the new lyrics etc. He really is the one doing all the

QuoteBFR Thank you Lady Jayne for posting these fantastic YouTube links. Great footage! I especially enjoyed getting to see Ronnie up close on LIB. Much appreciated! You are most welcome Darlin'. I am loving some of this footage we are getting so close to the event.

Assuming this was staged to get publicity for the tour, you have to hand it to Mick for the lengths he will go to to flog tickets. The man is heroic.

Quotemickschix I get a real kick out of those criticizing their colorful clothes...what would you prefer they wear...just jeans and a sloppy t-shirt? Why would anyone bother to make such an insipid comment? I guess they're forgetting that not everyone has a great seat and the Stones try to be SEEN by those way back as well as those lucky enough to be in the front...why did I even bother to r

Quotejahisnotdead I liked what I saw and heard from St. Louis, but they sure seem to have stepped it up a notch on this show. Can't wait to watch more later! If you are interested another Youtuber has edited a bunch of recordings from St Louis into a 'whole show' with some very good quality footage.

Quotejahisnotdead Those Jim Powers YouTube videos are really good. I'm going to have to watch Jumping Jack Flash again later with a good sound system cranked up, because that was an A+ performance. Many shows near the end Mick can sometimes get shouty, but he's really singing well even at the end of the show here. You'd think it was ten or twenty years ago from the way he moves.

QuoteTaylor1 There must have been a bodyguard nearby Well someone took the photo. The setting of this area of the bar right on the sidewalk would allow a bodyguard to have done that fairly easily without remark. As for not wearing sunnies - that is the right thing to do if you don't want to stick out like a sore thumb after dark!

Quoterollingon Quotemickschix First of all, I don't see Mick as a 78 year old man up on that stage....and THAT is one big reason the Stones have survived. When he " moves like Jagger", that is Mick being Mick, not attempting to look 28...if he didn't skip and move about the way he does, there would be those who would say " he's LOST IT, he's feeling his oats!&qu
